As a single mom of 4, I remember how difficult the adjustment was. I worked as a First Responder and had little control over my crazy schedule. The best advice I have is enjoy the time with your kids (mine are grown now) and don't worry about others and how they might feel or react. You and your kids are the most important thing. I loved all the projects and thought the black candle was going to be my favourite....right up until the end result of the third project....which stole my heart completely. Brandy, I remember being a single Mom. Believe me when I say, "You got this!" ❤❤❤ Life with my kids became far less frantic after my divorce from my first husband. I went on remarried and had two more gorgeous, sweet boys! Everyone survived and even thrived! You take all the time you need! We're a family of sorts, and we all are here to love and nurture you! I simply adored ALL todays crafting ideas! The multi media Eek was great. I'd never thought of taking simple letters and multi media out of them. I have letters from WalMart that are individual and look antique shaped. I looked and have enough to do Halloween. I think I'll do that! I already made 5 huge spell books! I kept my favorite one and the rest sold at Farmer's Market this past week. I used old encyclopedia Britanica books! So they really are large. I mod pidged used stickers, stamps and distressed and highlighted. Even put clay molds on the corners. I loved doing them, and they obviously are a popular choice with the young Mom's out there! ❤ I got the Hocus Pocus hint immediately. ❤ I don't know where to get the candle hand, but she turned out gorgeous.
