As a fellow shifter, here are my comments for some the numbers! (There's at least 12 paragraphs LMAO-) Number 1: I believe that by nature, original realities are merely what reality we decide to put a "reel" onto a part of our consciousness to as a pinpoint, making it so we're constantly connected there no matter where we are. The reason you can't get stuck since you'll always have that connection back, and you can simply reel yourself back in (Idk what this concept is but it's a personal theory). You can definitely stay in a reality for as long as you like, but only if you intend it. We're not stuck here, and we're not stuck there as well. Number 2: Yes, you can script that you can't die (physically at least) but realistically not dying in risky situations sometimes means AVOIDING death by the tail, which is arguably more terrifying than death (because you can't feel the effects of trauma if you're dead, right?). Morbidly speaking, sometimes death is better in certain conditions. Just some food for thought. Number 2, 6, and 16: I get what you're saying since there are a lot of people that mindlessly script in traumatizing situations, and I completely agree. If you're not ready to deal with the sheer possibility of harm, furthermore environments with a GREATER possibility of things happening it's best to gain more experience in safer places (even here works cause it's also a reality!). I can't stress it enough that death is real, whatever murders you commit are real, all of it is. As a shifter, it's out duty to be responsible with our knowledge, what we do there etc. I believe we should stop treating shifting to dangerous/potentially traumatizing environments as taboo by demonizing them, convincing others to not shift there and leaving it at that. Instead telling people we're shifting there at our own risk and expense is better. It also helps to have proper preparation before experiencing what some of these worlds truly have to offer. It doesn't help that people keep on saying "you should've just shifted back!" in these types of worlds as well (it's just victim blaming at that point). Shifting back isn't always a first choice or response, especially during freeze responses or active scenes that essentially ground you there via fear (or curiosity, especially if the reality looks safe at first). Whatever traumas that come when you shift won't be under your control. Yes, you can script out whatever's traumatizing like war, but not trauma itself. (I'm aware some claim otherwise, but for me personally it acts as a suppressant until you shift back. Whew, the amount of mental processing I needed!). Each environments can give their own type of trauma as well, whether it's physical, mental or emotional and no matter how small, it's important to acknowledge that whatever trauma we experience (and don't script in) isn't our fault. Number 9: Honestly, intention is key. Actions and words are just placebos to make us think we can't simply shift back and fools our brain into thinking there's a "shifting lock", preventing ourselves from instantaneously shifting back and therefore making us stay longer since "we didn't do the thing". I believe shifting from there to here is the same as shifting here to there, and it's only easier since we're used to the reality we remember as a piece of awareness. Number 17: I do mostly sleep methods, and there are certain sensations while you fall asleep that could lead to your heartbeat raising, such as the falling sensations you get while falling asleep since your body here gets fooled into thinking we're actually falling, among many others. I also get this alongside the "pulling/travel" sensation a lot. Maybe it's just what it is, and it could also just be the equivalent of any other shifting symptom we get like dizziness, nausea, etc. In fact, I personally feel like the symptoms you experience also depend on how you do your shifts. Honestly, I'd love to make a survey study regarding this, but I could only dream to get enough people to answer the survey to be able to gather a proper conclusion. I mean, we don't necessarily know exactly what causes symptoms during a shift, but it's something I love to speculate over. Number 18: We specify when we script, not create, though I have seen some people who believe/lean more towards consciousness theory believe we create realties the moment we think of them (and therefore they will have already existed). When we think about it, every reality we shift to is an alternate universe/timeline of the book/anime we're sourcing it from. So technically, we all shift exclusively to "our own" realities. Number 19: Shadow work also helps me here as well, and sometimes it's better to do that than just push it away (especially since I'm a bit neurodivergent since I need to process emotions more manually than most) so you can find an actual solution or targeted affirmations for it. After that however, that's when you really need start being delulu and swat the flys. Nowdays, I don't personally experience feeling negative emotions due to "mindset blockages", but there have been times where I feel emotions/hormones of my DR-self during a shift there while trying to connect there, especially after a stressful moment there. If it's a sudden wave without any reason, it could be you simply channeling/connecting if that makes sense. That's all! If you read this, thanks for reading my rambles here. (and thank you Lauren for this video :DDDDD)
Of course I read it all!! That is very interesting, you should make a survey, make a blog, or video on shifting. You seem very passionate about it and reading this was actually helpful and made me think (which I love!). Literally everything you said I agree with too, you put it into words so effortlessly, I think this could really be what you do in life. So, thank you for the good read and continue to shift and comment on my videos because I really enjoyed this (It doesn't matter how long it is I will read it all!). And thanks for answering the heart beat thing!! Also if you don't mind, could you tell me more about sleep methods and your shifting experiences? I'm interested in them since I have only used awake methods.
@@lessonswithlauren Thank you so much! This means a lot to me hahaha. I've actually had wrote down my own notes, explanations and theories regarding shifting ever since 2020, so yes very passionate hahaha. I've been planning to create more informative videos regarding shifting that satisfies the "logic-based" sector of our brains. but it's so much information that I genuinely have a hard time both organizing or explaining it coherently. I think I'll use this video as a guideline of potential applications for my some explanations I'll be doing for my future videos (so I hope you don't mind!) Sleep methods are, like you said, attempting to shift while in a state of sleep. From my point of view, you can make any awake method into a sleep method and vise versa, except things like the lucid dream method. Some people claim that the state we have while sleeping is very close to the void state, state of pure consciousness or whatever people call it these days (there are so many names for the same thing honestly). It's similar to an awake method and has the same concept, except you allow yourself to drift off to sleep as you do the method. My experiences with sleep methods used to consist of me constantly attempting to lucid dream, but upon realizing the amount of work lucid dreaming actually takes, I eventually stopped trying to use lucid dreams in order to shift. Ironically, I used to be very stern about lucid dreaming to shift (probably due to the shifting community's collective mindset during that time regarding sleep methods) yet my first shift via a sleep method didn't include a lucid dream at all. Hell, it didn't feel like anything at all, and I "simply woke up" there. The most effort I did was set intention via the pillow method (putting your script under your pillow) about two to three days ago for a completely different session of shifting. I didn't even become aware of the "state" people always talked about going into so you could shift (though I'm certain it was involved at some point). I thought I was merely lucky that night, and didn't think much about it until a year later. I realized that lucid dreams CAN make it easier for us to shift, but I really do believe it's not necessary, especially due to personal experiences. I've got a lot to say about sleep methods, but I'm pretty sure it'll be better as a video or two instead of a comment section (poor RUclips). Thanks for giving me the opportunity to type my heart away again!
@@thelilypool No, thank you! So, the first time you shifted, it was with a sleep method? Using the pillow method? Every time I have shifted (minishifts) it has been awake methods, but can you elaborate on setting intention? It's just really interesting to me, I'm interested in the scientifical part of shifting. I'm actually shifting to a reality where we study shifting and I learn about it more logically! But, yeah "setting intention for a sleep method" could be a great video, hell I'd watch it!
@@lessonswithlauren Technically it's the pillow method since i left it under my bed, yeah. Setting intention is the same as you do awake, but usually feels more passive since you're not actively aware if that makes sense (unless it's lucid dreams in my personal opinion). I don't have a clear definition of "intention" (it's a pure mess), but I've been constantly revamping my notes so it suits all instances of shifting. But I do have a definition of setting intention, which is the act of redirecting our awareness' movement. Usually we do this via choice, we say we're gonna shift which sets our intentions and "starts the act of shifting" (in quotation marks cause we're always shifting but it feels like the start cause we try and change our direction to shift if that makes sense). It's very simple to understand, but honestly my only problem is finding the right words to define these concepts in a concrete and sensical way that everyone can understand.

That happens to me too. Most shifters call it the "final push", usually they say to use the 5 senses and ground yourself in your dr and maybe say affirmations. But yeah, you're not alone it has happened to me too. I'll be on my way shifting to my dr, but then I can't get there for some reason. Maybe I'll ask my sister.. She was there in her dr before!
@@lessonswithlauren yeah, exactly the final push, hah, I forgot how it was called. But yeah, I just felt like I was really close, like it could be any second but for some reasons I couldn't get there
@@lauraekert-9881 I feel this way too. Try searching “the final push shifting” on tik tok or RUclips, see what they say. They will probably say “affirmations and 5 senses” but let me know!
lauren i have a question if your dr is something not fictional but you see it in your dreams continously for 2 months or more and it is related to your physical body how will you go there and then you want your dr body to be your body aswell in cr
I'm not sure I understand, you want to look like your desired reality self in your current reality? You can't bring your desired reality self back to your original reality.
I’m a new shifter, is it possible to shift with no visualization? I can’t visualize things and I have a lot of problems with trying to focus on my senses :(
There's this quote that says "Be where your feet are", it reminds me of this: Be where your feet are in this present moment, your original reality deserves your attention too. Don't focus on shifting throughout the whole day, I used to do that and I got so drained and I wasn't where my feet were and wasn't appreciating anything I had. So, appreciate what you have here, and once you want to shift THEN take the time to shift. Sorry, that did not answer your question! My answer to your question is: I'm not sure, I'd say no for me. It might not be from shifting but from something physical. Sometimes I have low iron and get dizzy. Or, it can be "day dreaming", I've heard people say that people who have a "day dreaming" disorder (not sure if that's what it's called) can get dizzy and disoriented. I learned that from this video: ruclips.net/video/JbWp0z5p8x0/видео.html
I have a question about the void. So like if i manifest smth do i get instant results? Like for example if i manifest to have blonde hair instead of brown when i wake up the next day will i have blonde hair? and will the others notice that my hair color has changed or they wont realize? idk if that makes sense lmao Sorry for bad grammar😭
Your grammar is lovely! For manifesting, it all depends. Sometimes things will manifest instantly, and sometimes they will take a little longer. There isn't really a way to tell, honestly. But sometimes, I can tell when my manifestation is coming, it's just a sense of knowing. Also, I'd say the belief has a big part in it too. If you really don't believe that it will happen, then it will take a bit more time.
You can use a safe word to shift back to your original reality from your desired reality, so you could most definitively use a safe word to shift TO your desired reality! Great idea!
No, though I recommend scripting safety rules if you're going to a more dangerous desired reality. I also like to script fun cool things like an infinite closet and things like that :)
You can choose how much time passes by when you are in your desired reality. For me, I say no time passes by, but if you want you can say: 1 day in dr = 1 hour in original reality Or you can do it for 2 hours or 3 days, it is entirely up to you! :)

They will probably say “affirmations and 5 senses” but let me know!
question: Do you remember stuff your clone does?
I'm personally not sure, but I've heard from other people that you do. I would think that you would.
lauren i have a question
if your dr is something not fictional but you see it in your dreams continously for 2 months or more and it is related to your physical body how will you go there and then you want your dr body to be your body aswell in cr
I'm not sure I understand, you want to look like your desired reality self in your current reality? You can't bring your desired reality self back to your original reality.
@@lessonswithlauren yes if we wanna look like dr self in real life like is that possible by any chance
I’m a new shifter, is it possible to shift with no visualization? I can’t visualize things and I have a lot of problems with trying to focus on my senses :(
It is possible! Try using affirmations and intention more!
23:29 okay thx but is it okay if i feel dizzy during the day ?
@@lessonswithlauren thx !! XD
@@user-rg8su2dq2l No problem!
i have a question... how does sleeping look like in your dr? is it exactly the same as in the cr?
Yes! If you want it to be otherwise, you can script it!
I have a question about the void.
So like if i manifest smth do i get instant results? Like for example if i manifest to have blonde hair instead of brown when i wake up the next day will i have blonde hair? and will the others notice that my hair color has changed or they wont realize? idk if that makes sense lmao
Sorry for bad grammar😭
Your grammar is lovely! For manifesting, it all depends. Sometimes things will manifest instantly, and sometimes they will take a little longer. There isn't really a way to tell, honestly. But sometimes, I can tell when my manifestation is coming, it's just a sense of knowing.
Also, I'd say the belief has a big part in it too. If you really don't believe that it will happen, then it will take a bit more time.
@@lessonswithlauren Thanks!
can you use a safe word to shift to your dr
You can use a safe word to shift back to your original reality from your desired reality, so you could most definitively use a safe word to shift TO your desired reality! Great idea!
I wanna be ur friend sooooo bad
Be my friend!!
do you need a script?
No, though I recommend scripting safety rules if you're going to a more dangerous desired reality. I also like to script fun cool things like an infinite closet and things like that :)
I know im a little late but, how does time work?
You can choose how much time passes by when you are in your desired reality. For me, I say no time passes by, but if you want you can say:
1 day in dr = 1 hour in original reality
Or you can do it for 2 hours or 3 days, it is entirely up to you! :)
