Not sure where your figures come from? A 3kw NSH for example @10p pkw per hour costs 30p per hour to heat up.. Most NSH on for 7 hours x 30p is 2.80 per night per rad! And that's being conservative.
We have them in our flat ... we just moved from EON who charged 55p for Eco 7 and 75p daytime, to another provider that is 10p Eco 7 and 55p day To have our Water Immersion Boiler and 2 Storage heaters charging for a few hours overnight, it costs us about £1.50 ... so works out well for us
@@portwest400 Yep! That was with Eon, as soon as the energy prices started rising, Eon took the chance to rip us off .. We are with Utility Warehouse now, and it's 10p eco 7 and 40p daytime, we are barely using £60 a month in the summer
I had four of them on last night and it cost me £14 yes I'm very serious that much.
Same in mine we have 5 of them each one costs 3pound plus each it’s a joke the nightly rates
I use British Gas for our electricity and it's £0.55 per day standing charge and £0.33 kwh daytime and £0.14 night time tariff.
Last winter of 2023, I was working my storage heater at 7pounds

That's great Dan!
55p for Eco 7!? that's ridiculous, I'm paying 15p Eco 7 and 42p Daytime with Scottish power

Hi I need to replace one night storage heater in my flat, can I ask where did you get your night storage heater?
@@wll6777 I can't help there unfortunately! We are renting our flat and it's the landlord that bought them
