I was so excited to listen to this new version because I already love all of these compositions! I wish I could find more music like this with the English lyrics and just the general style of these songs like the chromaticism and instrumentation and lyrics. I think from what little I've heard of it that Handel's Messiah comes close, but it has no organ in it, and I think the lyrics per song don't vary much, and it's a giant choir, and really it just sounds different. I like how songs 1, 3, and 8 sound march-like, which might be why I like it, but I don't know. If I can't find any music similar enough then maybe I'll be able to compose something I like someday.
