Currently going through this but worse with my mother. She is constantly judgy of any thing i decide for my child (only 3 months). She has questioned when she can keep him overnight, why he can’t stay overnight now and who he will go to first when I pass on….i can’t take this any longer.

You have to set the boundaries. It’s not easy but needs to be done

I’d cut contact over that behavior. She sounds unhinged!

They know it makes you uncomfortable and they push the issue? These people are sick! Stay away! Tell them no thank you and be that wrecking ball if you must but do not put your child in a situation just to keep others from being sad or uncomfortable. These people are not to be trusted! Trust YOUR gut! This call made me sick. Poor guy. Come on man.

The grandparents come from a different time with different mannerisms and respects. As an islander we are respectful to the elders always regardless of what they say and how they say it. Without them, we would not be here

My brother was coming from Austin to Canada in April 1985 and had to search for him, found missing, and letter found he had had a witness see his car go over a cliff near Henderson. Later they found his body in a Las Vegas morgue, where he had been for 3 months with his car in the demolition lot, and his Drivers License and Identification in the car. Only when a Travel Agency got involved that they discovered this. Why this happened in LV explains the lack of empathy on the police advising the family. This relates a bit to this coverup here....🤒

It's the evolution of technology that makes new families suspect of other family members. My wife and I are in our 70's with 4 grandkids. in Colorado we had two over on occasion in our 60's for 5 yrs then was cut off by the Hispanic Mom that we moved close to. Then we became strangers to her narcissistic self....now it seems she may. be colluding with our other daughter in law (you know like Russia and China) where we only get supervised visits. It might be because I'm a disabled Nam Vet as their father failed to protect our Country. This is breaking my wife's heart as she holds a masters in experimental psychology and understands more than they think!

"Outlaws" see the family dysfunction really quick. Outsiders have that blessing.
    And all families have dysfunction.
It sounds like that the great grandparents have been enabled by their family to be intrusively rude and controlling and other folks have had to walk on eggshells around them.
Huge massive red flag was when the great grandparents asked about his sexual past.
    What???? Excuse me????
Even their own grand kids didn't want to be in their presence.
Kids intuitively know when some folks are not kosher..

Somethin ain’t right here brother…amen? No but seriously, something smells.
Caller is quite spineless, but seems to be Dr shopping specific guidance or advice about a matter he has already made a decision about. He also cares very much about what Revered Pastor Great GrandGod thinks of him.
Or maybe he is very nervous on the phone because he is a long time listener, first time caller?
Or…maybe this kid was homeschooled all his life. Who knows?
My final answer…Joel Houston is caller and Frank Houston is the great grand god. No…Franks been gone a while I think.
    I got it!!
This is Reverend Dr Henry Clouds grandson on the phone? And this video is actually when his son decided to lay down these boundaries. BOOM!!! Got it. Goodnight ladies.

Don't go picking battles that you don't need to win. Lead your nuclear family how you see fit and overtime those unlikeable folks will learn they need to respect you and your decisions. Please don't be vocal any further due to your extended family's public status.
