The dynamic between you guys keeps getting better lol Full credit to DDD. But in all honesty I’ve never seen a fighter at AJ’s level get SO MUCH wrong in a fight. Imagine if Canelo did that against Berlanga?
@@boxingnews__ your welcome, great show with a great dynamic, unfiltered and unbiased which is rare these days, I have my own boxing channel if anyone is interested 🥊
Amazing podcast, keep them coming gents. The depth Andy Clarke goes into gives me so much insight to a boxers mind, he adds much value to this podcast. Legend! Well done all 👏
WILD - we thought it would be a street fight (that's unfair to say to Dubois) but not with Dubois being THAT dominant. An upset but not a shock...it was carnage at the end, I couldn't go to sleep after that final salvo from both. Really wasn't surprised to see Chamberlain lose, not cause I've seen Padley before but I've never been convinced with him (unlike Noakes).
This victory wasn't about Joshua leaving his chin exposed it was all about Daniel seizing his moment on the biggest stage when others couldn't He wasn't interested about Joshua, he was only interested in destroying the object in front of him and he did just that.
Agreed. Imo it was a big disrespect to the title holder to have to walk out first and more disrespect to be introduced first. A side B side thing gone too far.. they paid the price
Annoying that don charles is getting no credit from dubios. This obsession with how great is dad is drives me mad. The trainer is the main man, not some cheerleading family member
Giving DDD is props for sure. Look forward to watching him over the next few years. For AJ, it wasn’t that he lost to DDD, just the way he did it. Looked vacant, uninterested and didn’t have any fight in him, he had an Easy like Sunday morning energy. Strange given all the no stone unturned-going to war-let’s fight attitude…has he been on the Wilder plant medicine 💊 🍄
Usyk isn't that far ahead of everyone. I think fury wins the rematch and if not , I think dubois can beat him in a rematch. Time isn't on usyks side and he will start declining I think he already has, he isn't unbeatable
Not taking Dubois performance away, but can we all talk about why Joshua was very amateurish, walking back in straight lines, chin in the air, hands down. He should know better
My theory on it is that Dubois caught him early and he felt the power and basically panicked. Then all the basics went out the window. Had Dubois started slow Joshua may have got into a rhythm. But you never can tell with AJ. Did he really think he was something like another Ali after knocking out an MMA fighter? I doubt it but there were (still are) people around him telling him he is an all time great.
Bravo gentlemen!!!! Absolutely brilliant review and all on top form. I've watched every interview/review et cetera on youtube and yours is the beat by far. Love all your work keep it going. Mr. Barry Jones... what a legend!!!! Turki alal sheik should make him king of boxing worldwide! There should be a BAZZA SEASON!!! great chemistry between all three of you. Love it. Much love Rob and Andy!!!!
This rematch talk is all a smoke screen... lets all just tell it how it is...the only fight Eddie and Frank and Turkiye want is Fury v AJ....nothing is gonna happen until the Fury v Usyk rematch....if Tyson loses again its perfect for all parties.....Fury v AJ and Usyk v Dubois rematch.......thats the only way its gonna play out.....the only way it doesnt is if Usyk retires and then Dubois will end up fighting Joe Parker.....and i dont think even Frank will put Dubois in with Bakoali.....Too much money in the AJ v Fury match for it not to happen
Andy’s completely wrong when he said Eddie didn’t say in the ring after the fight that there was a rematch clause to Dubois. He literally did say they had a rematch clause and were probably going to activate it🤦♂️🤦♂️he knew exactly what he was doing too. Andy’s such a company man 🤦♂️
AJ got it right in that he ducked Parker and Zhang, believing that he had the youngster Dubois' number. AJ ran the same playbook when he took on a very young Parker with a hand selected ref who helped keep Parker at range. He didn't get the rub here, but the strategy was a familiar one.
I think it's dawning on us more and more just how amazing Usyk is. He shouldn't really be able to beat such huge athletic guys at heavyweight but his skills suoerseeded their strength, height, weight and reach advantages each time. That's greatness.
The audio makes this really hard to listen to, its way too up and down. I turn it up to hear barry and then get my ear drums ruptured by loud laugther.
Funny how when Usyk battered n Almost KO’d Fury fan boys like this were hiding from doing interviews 🤣 n will go back into hiding when Usyk KOs Fury soon🤐
Against hrgovic dubois was on the end of the jab and eating right hands for fun. He fought on the inside against AJ. Why was this? AJ jab non existent or dubois jab so powerful he couldn't stop him coming inside
I would like to see Dubois have an easy fight in the top 10 like Sanchez or chisora then Parker. AJ vs Whyte or wilder at the 02 knock them out then retire
Can't stand casual boxing fans, they are all coked up and looking to get on camera. I wonder how many were watching the great fight on Friday night between Jaime Munguia against Erik Bazinyan from Arizona.
Fucking hell I expected so much more from your DDD vs Joshua review and only wanted to listen to that but it was below par which is unusual for you three also I am fed up of DDD being classed as a quitter for choosing to save his own eye sight when his corner should have pulled him out before that, Daniel done what he needed to do, did you want him to be blind in one eye for the rest of his life or something? This quitter argument in that particular fight lacks common sense and logic.
Andy saying Wembley was “two thirds full after two or three fights” - complete nonsense! It was barely one third full after 2/3 fights! Open your eyes Andy!🤦♂️🤦♂️
I don’t understand why people keep making such a mess of the prospect of a Fury - Joshua fight now - “well if Fury beats Usyk you couldn’t justify a fight with AJ but if Fury loses then maybe they should both retire”🤦♂️🤦♂️there’s literally one year or so left to make this fight and if it doesn’t get made it’ll be the biggest tragedy in British boxing history. Win, lose or draw for fury in December, they HAVE to make the AJ - Fury fight next. Everyone still wants to see it so stop over complicating it ffs
i think Joshua thought he just had to turn up to win. In my humble opinion is that aj came across rather arrogantly i base this opinion on Aj saying , ' that Dubois was shit ' between rounds 4 /5 [even thou aj was getting battered ] then he got ko.d shortly after . How come there has been no mention of Aj saying that I can't be the only person that heard him say that ? your thoughts ?
Dubious, Too young, too mobile, too much desire. AJ looked like a big stiff. It was the same with the first Ruiz fight. AJ can't handle movement or fast hands. AJ has talent and was only an average HW Champ not even top 40 All time. I think now he wished he never mouthed off about Lennox Lewis. He certainly now looks more the Clown. I Imagine Prime AJ v's Prime Ike Ibeabuchi. That would be very embarrassing for him and a lot worse than the Dubious fight.
they treated Dubois like a challenger coming in first making the whole thing like som aj show Daniel was the champ everything was in Al's favour even the ref never said nothing about Joshua grabbing and holding after every shot never allowed Daniel inside fighting and constantly tried mess up Daniels rhythm rematch room are a joke....
Dubois would murder Zhang. Z-dog has a punchers chance but that is literally it Hed beat Kabayel and Parker in a hard fight Bakole im not too sure ... 🤔
@@paulsmith57 I’m not sure, Usyk is absolute exceptional but I just think Tyson didn’t have the right game plan for the first fight and will come in with a similar game plan/in similar shape to how he did in the second Wilder fight and he’ll be a 7ft 20 stoke monster who won’t take a backwards step

Exactly

That entrance music for AJ was brilliant, even if the result wasn't Rocky-esque lol
This is why boxing is simply the best sport...
When the ducking and delaying isn't happening of course

AJ was tentative and it cost him, but dubios was like a bulldog after you've stolen his bone. Intensity through the roof
This victory wasn't about Joshua leaving his chin exposed it was all about Daniel seizing his moment on the biggest stage when others couldn't He wasn't interested about Joshua, he was only interested in destroying the object in front of him and he did just that.

Don't see AJ doing much now. As for Dubois, can see him maybe beating everyone but not Usyk..
