Peacock Throne ( made of solid gold and Diamonds ) was looted from the Delhi Durbar and carried away to Iran by Nadir Shah where this priceless treasure was later broken up for its gold and diamonds. He also took the Kohinoor diamond and eventually it came in the hands of The British.
India has its own Gold Mines, Diamond Mines as well as it's own Gems and Stones. Panna Diamond Mine of Madhya Pradesh (MP) is the only mine which is active at present. Kollur Diamond Mine is not working now where Kohinoor Diamond had mined which is in Andhra Pradesh. Kolar Gold Field from Karnataka is also in inactive mode.

My recent visit to India I saw a deferent picture. The cities and rural areas are full of poor people, wandering cows eating garbage accumulated by throwing garbage by households and businesses. Railways stations are filthy and uncontrolled crowds and average passenger get no assistance to direct to the correct trains and the compartment. when a train arrives and it a commotion and no railway agents are available. Street foods are being prepared in the most un-hygienic condition and stray dogs fight over for crumps of food.
