Have just started The Division and after trolling through many "How to" videos , i can say you explain this really well. I have grinded to level 30 solo so far after a week of play and am now on Tier 2. Still totally confused on what to keep , what to sell or deconstruct etc LOL. If you can make tutorial videos for all aspects of the game, that would be awsome my man !! Have subbed and look forward to more videos of this nature as i know for sure i have lost many good weapons due to deconstructing when not really knowing what i am doing.
I will 100% look into making more videos on D2. I am not a professional by any means but I will research and try to explain it in a way that newer players may understand 🙂Thanks for the sub and comment!
Offensive probably weapon damage, crit hit chance, crit hit damage, then HS damage. Defensive: Total Armor, Hazard Protect, Health, and explosion resistance. Handling: Reload speed, Accuracy, Stability, and ammo capacity. Utility: (this depends on your build) But I went like this : Skill haste, Skill duration, Skill damage, Skill repair. As for scavenging, Its all up to you on that one.
Level 40 / 515 but some of my gear stats are very low compares to yours. For example, the armor for my backpack are always at 18k and my attributes rarely exceed 20k. Why ?
Multiple reasons lol. I have Armor mods on the BP and fully spec'd into defense on the watch. I would look at what armor mods you have and try finding armor stat bp's and add them to see if they increase.
Why can I extract a talent from a chess piece if I have that talent but when you go to your recalibration library, you do not see that Tylan highlighted in that category but I have it in my inventory why is that?
Quick question. I am a newish player. I mainly use LMGs and assault rifles. The LMG i have has 15% weapon damage and 12.5 % damage out of cover. The little white arrow is to the left and this is the same on all my weapons and gear sets. Even if i dont recalibrate it do you still get the full 15% weapon damage? I confuses me a little. Do i only get 15% damage if i max the LMG out.
That is a very good question and It would take a long time to explain and others already have. I am going to link you a Reddit post where they discuss those little white arrows! www.reddit.com/r/thedivision/comments/fco807/what_do_these_white_arrows_represent_on_gear_20/?context=3 Sorry to make you read so much! lol. But this has a lot of good information in it!
Yes, as of right now, after you recalibrate one attribute the others will be locked. As for the future, I have not read anything that they are going to change that but anything is possible!
After you recruit Emma Richards to the Base of Operations at the Whitehouse, you'll unlock the Recalibration Station. So you will have to be close to beating the main story
yep good
back playing after 3 years, video was straight forward. Much appreciated
I've been trying to find a video of someone explaining this to me..found you 7 months after still works.
Bro. THAT is the BEST explanation I have found to date. Thank you
One of the best , if not the best guide I've watched for recalibration. Just got the dlc and I was so confused. Thank you
Thank you! I'm glad it helped!
You’re amazing dude. Thank you. Simple and sweet
Thanks! I'm glad it helped!
That really cleared things up for me couldn't get my head around that set up at all.. thank you.
When you use a talent does it take it from your library and put it on the gun, or is it once it's in the library is it always there?
It's always there! you don't have to worry about losing it if you use it on another weapon/armor.
Thanks for the info. I had forgotten how to better my equipment and this refresher was on point.
You are very much welcome! Glad it helped!

Thank you soooo much, u dont know how i needed this video!!
Perfect breakdown buddy tysm
Glad it helped! Thank you!
Thanks for this. Was straightforward and really good.
Thanks great video... Question? For your SHD watch, what's the best order on leveling it up?
Offensive probably weapon damage, crit hit chance, crit hit damage, then HS damage.
Defensive: Total Armor, Hazard Protect, Health, and explosion resistance.
Handling: Reload speed, Accuracy, Stability, and ammo capacity.
Utility: (this depends on your build) But I went like this : Skill haste, Skill duration, Skill damage, Skill repair.

Thank you so much!!! This helped tremendously
No problem! I am glad it helped! Thank you for the comment!
This helped a lot, thank you

Basically what does the little white arrow mean. Some top players are all 2 the right side. Mine are all 2 the left.

Sorry to make you read so much! lol. But this has a lot of good information in it!
If you optimize an affix to max can it also be added to your library?
Is it viable to do this before or after I beat the main game that’s also including the NY expansion?
i see thats why other attribute get lock after im recalibrate one attribute. i think we can unlocked the other in the future
Yes, as of right now, after you recalibrate one attribute the others will be locked. As for the future, I have not read anything that they are going to change that but anything is possible!
Are you able to optimize all stats on a weapon? I mean if you start increasing Crit chance let's say, can I still increase the other attributes?
I'm level 7 and can't unlock this optimization table, when does it unlock?
After you recruit Emma Richards to the Base of Operations at the Whitehouse, you'll unlock the Recalibration Station. So you will have to be close to beating the main story
I can't optimize because it says item lvl is too low, im already at lvl 30, what should I do ?
You can optimize only level 40 gear items. So you must own the Warlords of New York and be done with it's campaign.
Thanks
You are welcome
so one has to be Level 40 to do this?
Why are games so complicated now... T-T
This is fun?!
Well now I get it lol 😆
