when i was a kid i saw this ending, and i cried for like 30 to 40 minutes, it was that sad to me, and i don't know if i'm the only one that this ending affected in this way but, incredibly, after like 8 or 9 years later, this ending makes want to cry so bad, and i can't hold myself back, because, this was so heartbreaking to me as a kid, and its still is now for me as a young adult. I bought this game without knowing what i bought, but i'm really glad that i picked it up because, this is one of the best games i have ever played, my favourite game on the PS1, and one of my favourite games of all time :').

The ending of Klonoa really struck me more than any of the other spots on the list. Man, the ending for this game absolutely tears your heart strings. After watching the ending scene on its own, I was just crying. Its so emotional but it is done very well. That was six years ago. If it wasn't for the review by Mike Matei, I would have forgotten this game. After seeing the ending for the first time in years, I was crying as soon as I heard the song start. I just knew that the feels were gonna all come rushing in. And they did. Easily one of the saddest and most tragic endings for any game ever.

siempre veo este final y me pone triste, represento mi infancia... Namco decidió cerrar esta franquicia con la segunda parte y unos spin off para la gameboy, sin duda alguna... este juego cerro como una joya jugabilistica...
@@williamalexisvalenzuelasan8041 me lo he imaginado muchas veces, como sería un hipotético klonoa 3, pues quedó todo en un final abierto en la parte 3, me gustaría que en un futuro cercano namco vuelva a tomar en cuenta al personaje pues quedó completamente en el olvido
It's funny, after playing the Wii version (in Phantomile speak of course) I can't help but appreciate how much better the PS1 cutscenes were. I feel like the improved graphics of Wii Klonoa really cheapens the depth and drama of the final scene, especially the mouth animations. In fact, the extra details don't fit the style, which is a shame cause the Wii game is pretty and a beat-for-beat remake, but the old version stands the test of time better. If they did it in the style of the PS2 sequel then maybe it would've been salvaged, but nothing, and I mean NOTHING beats this PS1 classic. Just, GOOD LUCK getting your hands on a physical copy of it ($60 no case used on Ebay my ASS!)

i was just thinking about the same thing... the wii version lost all the emotional touch from the characters and the cut scenes...
Not only that, but the horrible voice acting made this scene way less emotional.
better buy it on PS3 PSN store before Sony shuts it down in 2020. Glad I bought it four years ago and a good game .
