never hold the head back. the bleeding doesn't stop, it goes down the back of the nose, down the throat. the video was exactly right. the blood is probably coming from the front, soft part of the nose, from a very small blood vessel. direct pressure is the most effective thing to do. i speak not only as an RN, but as a person who has had many, many nosebleeds over the years. well-meaning teachers made me tilt my head back, which only makes the throat very sore from blood running down it. i also vomited blood lots of times from tilting the head back. wrong thing to do.
I have nosebleeds every summer because of the presure of the heat from the sun. And this summer i have had ove 8 of them already! And just now i have had a nosebleed and it was pretty bad. I followed this video and it really helped thank you very much to whoever made this video. Thank you!!!

I would prefer putting a tissue other than a bowl. Still tilt your head forward and pinch your nose, but the tissue will create a less messy situation. Also you won’t have to see as much blood. Just my preference.

One time Mike, my bus driver, is on vacation one day, and we had to go on his Bus 515, Darren's Bus, Zabeth, another driver, was nice to let me handle it as all students onboard her bus were grossed out as I helped him stop the nosebleed with a cloth napkin I got from a fancy restaurant a while back. She told her students not to be alarmed as I, the student from another bus, which is my bus, got the nosebleed under control. And the only time his nosebleed was critical and it exploded everywhere, making the Beyond Van Gogh trip at the Tailslandian Riverside Convention Center more like a crime scene. tbh i used to get bloody noses for 1hr and 45 mins. i never seeked medical advice bc i thought i could handle it. i then starting swallowing blood at it got really bad. just today, i got my nose cauterized, it did hurt, but im happy because ill probably never have to deal with bloody noses again. :)

We put some drops of coconut oil on his head when he is having this issue right at the center of the top of his head and he stops bleeding the same second itself. try if this work for your kids..

Face have lots of blood vessels and you nose there's little blood vessels some of the blood vessels might break if you itch them or air is too dry take medical tension .know how to handle my nose bleed

Also get a very cold wet flannel and lay it around on the back of the neck or on top of the head - the coldness stops the bleed faster.

The reason you should Lean forward is because if you lean back the blood can run in your stomach and you can throw up.

Dont lean back cuz u could choke blood or vomit blood so u have to lean forward so the blood could come out faster and stop.
