I'm a huge fan of the Streamliner. Moser is a great company, and I absolutely love it when they piss off other Swiss watchmakers who take themselves too seriously.
H. moser is one of my favorite brands. They combine their own timeless design language, very high quality and no nonesense hype marketing. I bought my first grail last month in a first gen Endeavor
Interesting piece of trivia: The company that Moser hired to setup their display for Watches and Wonders got cold feet and backed out at the last minute. Vanta black is an extremely expensive and delicate material (it's actually three dimensional), and touching/moving the watch would risk crushing the nanotubes which absorb all light. In the end, the CEO of Moser placed the watch into the display himself. :p
I’ve been following Moser for three years now. I pulled the trigger on an Endeavor. No markings whatsoever on the watch. A beautiful funky blue dial. You could make it a left hand watch like the new Rolex and it works! My Endeavor “concept” is one of 50 and has some special movement features. Double hairspring which acts like a Tourbillon on the inside. Fortunately these models sell below retail. Otherwise it would be out of my league. Still hit my wallet but you know, it’s very rare 😂.
For people with the cash to buy one, a Moser basically offers the pound-for-pound value that say…Orient or Tissot provide for us lesser consumers. Did I just compare Moser to Orient? Yep. And I’d double down on it, with great respect for both brands. Fun episode, Jory. I got turned onto Moser watching Federico, great to see you covering them also.
I like this maker. I love how they roast the rest of the industry, and poke fun at the posh and seriousness lol. We need someone like them in other industries.
I own the H Moser Streamliner, Green Dragon. Tremendous watch that is a real conversation starter, great dial, nicely finished and an awesome bracelet. Highly recommend purchasing one of you can get the opportunity to buy one.
I own the 3800-1200 (Pioneer Perp. Cal.). I love the watch and I love the company even more. Mr. Meylan and crew make you feel like you are part of the family. They cultivate human relationships... thus they ACTUALLY want to sell watches and enjoy the relationships that are initiated with the purchase. Love you EM. My next will be a Rose Endeavor, then a Streamliner date...when they release it.
Moser is to watchmaking what Koenigsegg is to car building, love it. Another plus, they have a certified pre-owned section on their website, I really do appreciate that.
I've learned about H. Moser with the Swiss Alp Watch series and my respect for them has only been growing. They have made a very serious and almost rigid field like watchmaking, fun again, with many different projects, but even when "trolling" they make some exquisite products. This "swiss made" bs is another one of their moves to separate themselves from the status quo of swiss watchmakers, and i love it
Yeah, I also came up with a similar thought while watching the video. There should be some label that signifies a higher level of Swiss-ness, like 80, 90% or similar :) There is actually a Geneva Seal, but that’s different and too location specific.
Just discovered this brand. Very excited to be taking a trip to Milan in a few days where hopefully I'll get to see some of these watches in person! Still well outside my discretionary spending price range, but this video turned me from a fan to full-on in love with the brand and think I may just have to save my pennies over the next couple years and pick up their perpetual calendar. So cool...
I love Moser exactly because of what you said. I own a Pioneer Cosmic Green on a bracelet. People are so intrigued with the piece I always have a good conversation. The antidote for the inherent Rolex “Charm”
That black vanta watch would have been cool with a special coating on the hands so it could only be seen under black light. Imagine having to carry around a special torch to read your watch. That would be an awesome talking piece.
Is that a GMT? Even better? Next year they should do a Chrono! Four dials, rotating bezel, lots of hands, and a super black dial - and no way to read any of it except the main display! Great vid. Keep at it!
H Moser is my favorite brand. My grail watch would be the Pioneer Centre Seconds, ref # 3200-1205, in blue with the black case and black strap. Some day…..
I own a rose gold, fumé dial, Endeavour centre seconds. Lovely dress watch with a magnificent dial and a beautiful automatic movement. I got mine at a very good price. If I had to be picky, I’d wish it was marginally thinner.
Huh...While I know of Moser, I didn't know its history or that they played practical jokes...Loving them even more. I will definitely buy one of their watches someday...
My silver curved oversize tonneau H.Moser is Circa 1920. Check the history. The current firm bought the name of a defunct company and made very fine watches to rejuvinate the brand.
always been a fan... to think that I could sell my 124060 Sub which I got at retail, make a profit and buy a Moser, is very tempting lol. But I do like the sub and if I sell it I'll never be able to get one again probably. But I also want a Moser :P
My favorite H moser is the Pioner 40mm funky blue, hope some day I can afford one, olso love the Mega Cool color dial but that's 43 mm and I can't wear that side, beautiful watch nonetheless.
Actually 'myth' about H Moser making wrist watches since 1953 is actually false information. First H.Moser & Cie wrist watches (with Breguet movement) existed already in 1920s ... I own one of such. That watch is from year 1924 ... My grandfather was the first owner of that watch, and he had it with him during the battles of 1944 ... So, that wrist watch existed well before year 1953...
Great video! H Moser has been one of my favorite brands for while, their watches are truly pieces of art and I would take a H Moser over a Rolex any day.
Hey Jory - not sure where you are basing the 1953 date of H. Mosier & Cie making wrist watches. Heritage just auctioned an H. Mosier & Cie trench wrist watch from 1915 in its recent auction. So maybe there is something about the history that is a little skewed, but they were making wristwatches long before 1953.
Have the blue lagoon endeavour and still waiting for streamliner perpetual (coming this year.... hopefully) and Cylindrical Tourbillon (coming next year.... hopefully). Love the brand and their watches. Rarely seen other than in the AD, at least where I am, and only watch enthusiasts recognize them, which is good. Very rare indeed.
I love this brand. They almost had me with the perpetual moon with the aventurine dial. One of these days… Edit October 2022, bought a Pioneer DLC blue fume dial. Best wearing watch I have ever had on my wrist and the dial is absolutely stunning. It is simply the best everyday watch I have ever owned.
Great videos from various perspectives! Moser is my top brand along with Patek! However, I don't see those watches as pranks rather than conveying their attitude towards social medias that solely express branding and money other than watch making itself. Meanwhile, they use social media phenomenon as in their advantage to attract attention as a marketing strategy. I think this is extremely smart by the CEO after his family took over Moser because they only produce 1500 watches a year, which is nothing in the swiss industry, but almost 1/4 of entire high end independent watching making (including FPJ!). This will not affect the industry at all, but it would attract lots of attention from customers from those big brands as their potential buyers and its also good for the high end independent brands to be noticed.
Great company breakdown. Nice to see a company with character. I had seen that all vanta black watch with except the hands, I didn't realize it was real totally thought it was a Photoshop. That's brilliant.
Also, H. Moser only makes around 1,500 watches/year, so they are somewhat unique at more affordable prices then Patek Philippe. You get the satisfaction of knowing you will stand out in a crowd.
Like the brand, has two of their watches, one sport, three hander , one dress with tourbillon, but then find that I lost interest because the are all kind of similar. Was interested in the perpetual calender in the sport model but find that unscrewing the crown and hand winding for a sports watch is kind of dumb. Wish that the have a Vanta black version of the streamliner perpetual calendar that is self-winding , that I will probably get me back into it again.
You know SWISS MADE means more than Made in Germany/France/Japan/USA etc. It may be BS for you but swiss rules are more strict than others, and many brands (especially Swatchgroup related) are way over 60% of swiss origin. The whole thing is to protect the local industry, the parts producers, etc. I live here, my family has been in the industry for generations and believe me, it is not BS for us or for a lot of people working here. Thank you.
You’re missing the point. The fact that “Swiss Made” doesn’t actually mean “Swiss Made” is misleading, and doesn’t actually add any additional value to the product. H. Moser has proven this. 🤫🤫🤫
@@thetimeteller I get your point Jory, but a lot of brands, including Swatchgroup wanted that number to be much higher and they produce much more than 60% in Switzerand. Certina for example, only a few hardware parts come from, yes I guess China, while all the rest, case, crystal, bracelet, movement of course, hands, etc. come from swiss manufacturers. Hey I don't want to argue with you, you have your points, I have mine. Love your channel, been a long time follower. Have a nice weekend, greetings from a 60% swiss made fellow 😂👍
... and the watch made from cheese (There physical statement, when they went out of "swiss made"), collab' with mb&f, etc ! One of the most vertical brands (they own the company Precison Engeneering, at Schaffhausen who can literally produce all parts, with also other brands as clients) ,and by the way, with on of the coolest CEO/Owner: Edouard Meylan !
That 60% that the Swiss government talks about is of the total value that it takes to manufacture each watch so you could get a movement from China that cost $0.50 and just have one part from Switzerland that's astronomical and cost and you could still call it Swiss made
Since WWII, the Swiss operation of Moser seems to have changed hands a few times, some Moser-branded watches were made using off-the-shelf components and movements and that's about it. The current incarnation certainly has a good heart and makes outstanding products, but to my mind there was a break in the bloodline, or the "soul" of the company. The Russian operation, however, merged with a number of existing manufacturers there and carried on as Moser for years, and then changed its name to the Second Moscow Watch Factory, the best known brand was Slava; unfortunately some Chinese firm undermined the company which led to its collapse.
I'm a huge fan of the Streamliner. Moser is a great company, and I absolutely love it when they piss off other Swiss watchmakers who take themselves too seriously.

the Swiss Icons watch is weapons-grade, full-fat, ocean-going trolling - absolutely love Moser for chucking that out.
The font on H Moser Swiss icons HMC is also the same as the IWC font and Schaffhausen format.
It’s actually bloody exceptional they released it haha.
2nd thing I noticed after the GMT bezel insert :)
That "Swiss Icons" watch is the most highly advanced trolling I've ever seen.
I see more the more I look at it. Girard Perregaux Tourbillon with one gold bridge!
Moser owner here. Love ‘em
I’ve been following Moser for three years now. I pulled the trigger on an Endeavor. No markings whatsoever on the watch. A beautiful funky blue dial. My three Mosers include a rose gold small seconds Endeavor, a Streamliner and a funky blue dial Heritage.
I like this maker. I love how they roast the rest of the industry, and poke fun at the posh and seriousness lol. We need someone like them in other industries.
I feel like that slogan " VERY REAR " trolls Rolex and AP & PP 🤣🤣🤣🤣 that's especially good
I own the H Moser Streamliner, Green Dragon. Tremendous watch that is a real conversation starter, great dial, nicely finished and an awesome bracelet. Highly recommend purchasing one of you can get the opportunity to buy one.
Moser does not appeal to me esthetically but I really like their company culture and humor Top class.
They have non corporate statement watches .. classy stuff. Look em up..
Have you seen the Swiss Alp watch???
You should try it on, it changes everything
The tourbillion on the Swiss Icons is from the GP 3 Bridges. The dial pattern is Patek Naitalis.
Moser is probably my favorite watchmaker. I will definitely be adding multiple to my collection when the budget allows for it.
It's the equivalent of saying "I'm so Swiss I don't even bother to put it on the dial"
Moser is to watchmaking what Koenigsegg is to car building, love it. Another plus, they have a certified pre-owned section on their website, I really do appreciate that.
I've learned about H. Moser with the Swiss Alp Watch series and my respect for them has only been growing. H. Moser should put “Real Swiss” at the bottom of their dials. 😉
Genuine Swiss 😃
Yeah, I also came up with a similar thought while watching the video. There should be some label that signifies a higher level of Swiss-ness, like 80, 90% or similar :) There is actually a Geneva Seal, but that’s different and too location specific.
Very Rare. Very Swiss.
The fact that none of the screws are lined up on the case of the Swiss Icon.
The ultimate Hublot troll 🤣🤣
H.Moser was making wrist watches during ww1 and probably even earlier
Just discovered this brand. Very excited to be taking a trip to Milan in a few days where hopefully I'll get to see some of these watches in person! Still well outside my discretionary spending price range, but this video turned me from a fan to full-on in love with the brand and think I may just have to save my pennies over the next couple years and pick up their perpetual calendar. Grooves on the dial are from the nautilus while the tourbillon bridge is from GP LOL
I love the all vanta with only the hands visible. That’s awesome looking.
You are correct, H. Moser is a great watch company.
Thanks for this video man, Moser is one of my very favorite watch companies and it was cool to learn some new things about them here!
I love Moser exactly because of what you said. I own a Pioneer Cosmic Green on a bracelet. People are so intrigued with the piece I always have a good conversation. The antidote for the inherent Rolex “Charm”
Do these come onto the secondary market since they are limited in production?
From father to son is one of the best watch ads.
Gotta love a company that pokes fun of the industry that it’s a part of!
Assembling the vanta watch is some next-level skills for sure.
"HMC Schaffhausen" is the cherry on top of the Swiss Icons watch.
Great rant review of H Moser. Consider me now a fan of the bad boys...yes, that means you too.
H Moser my US grand father. I love it. What are the chances? Sounds like a mutual family sense of humor!
That black vanta watch would have been cool with a special coating on the hands so it could only be seen under black light. Imagine having to carry around a special torch to read your watch. That would be an awesome talking piece.
Finally got one. The 40mm Pioneer, so the entry piece. Got a new one after trying for awhile
Proper cool. Makes the rest of the Swiss industry look daft. Cheers 👍🏻👍🏻
They are funky, look great and their movement is outstanding! Check Straumann double hairspring
I love my Pioneer Center Seconds blue dial. It is a real Swiss made watch through and through. Understated quality!
If I had to be picky, I’d wish it was marginally thinner.
agreed! nothing to complain only except the thickness. But i'm sure they will make it thinner in the future.
Bro how is the weight of the watch?
Especially the hairspring itself is manufactured in-house, so nothing could become more serious than that
I own the H Moser Streamliner green dial and I love it.
Got the venturer vantablack 39mm, it has been my grail watch and is by far my favorite.
The fanta with white hands is 🔥🔥🔥
Huh...While I know of Moser, I didn't know its history or that they played practical jokes...Loving them even more. I will definitely buy one of their watches someday...
My silver curved oversize tonneau H.Moser is Circa 1920. Check the history. The current firm bought the name of a defunct company and made very fine watches to rejuvinate the brand.
H MOSER makes some of the most beautiful watches worldwide. I LOVE it ❤
My Rolex Submariner is also black though. So cool.
always been a fan... to think that I could sell my 124060 Sub which I got at retail, make a profit and buy a Moser, is very tempting lol.
The streamlier is really really cool
Very nice work here; 100% agree!
I would definitely jump all the way in on the darkest of dark watches if I had the coin! Them shit are lit.
Actually 'myth' about H Moser making wrist watches since 1953 is actually false information. First H.Moser & Cie wrist watches (with Breguet movement) existed already in 1920s ... I own one of such. 4:28 Thats a Girrard Perregaux three bridges tourbillon
Also HMC, Schaffhausen...IWC, Schaffhausen
@4:09 the bolts are even misaligned like Hublot 🤣
@8:58 The right hand Moser has "Swiss Made" at the bottom. You missed that one LOL
Great video! H Moser has been one of my favorite brands for while, their watches are truly pieces of art and I would take a H Moser over a Rolex any day.

Trench watches were modified pocket watches.
I’m a very big fan of H Moser. All of their pieces that I have been able to see in metal are just stunning.
I love this brand. They almost had me with the perpetual moon with the aventurine dial. One of these days…
Edit October 2022, bought a Pioneer DLC blue fume dial. Best wearing watch I have ever had on my wrist and the dial is absolutely stunning. It is simply the best everyday watch I have ever owned.

What kind of glasses are those ? Can you share the brand please. Thank you
Great company breakdown. Nice to see a company with character.
I had seen that all vanta black watch with except the hands, I didn't realize it was real totally thought it was a Photoshop. That's brilliant.
HMC font on Swiss icons a nod to IWC? C’mon T3!
They got a big range and most are wack but the ones that aren't are hella dope.
I like your vibe, dude. Keep up the good work!
Also, H. Moser only makes around 1,500 watches/year, so they are somewhat unique at more affordable prices then Patek Philippe. You get the satisfaction of knowing you will stand out in a crowd.
The Swiss Icons watch also has a logo mocking IWC
They also put HMC on the dial exactly as IWC would have.
The bridge is from GP
Only The Time Teller will tell
Only T Cubed will tell
H.Moser has the right idea. I might go buy one now.
H. Moser makes really beautiful watches.
Moser takes watchmaking seriously; the other makers mostly just take _themselves_ seriously. A Moser is definitely on my "someday list".
I have a Moser Krasniy, from 2017. Only 17 in the world😎
H money is my favorite watchmaker. I don't pay too much attention to them though as I never want to spend that much on watches.
They have the “bridges” watch or whatever its called
As an addict, I wish I could get their watch look-a-like with the second sub dial looking like the reboot symbol.
Like the brand, has two of their watches, one sport, three hander , one dress with tourbillon, but then find that I lost interest because the are all kind of similar. Was interested in the perpetual calender in the sport model but find that unscrewing the crown and hand winding for a sports watch is kind of dumb. Can't believe you didn't feature the "swiss cheese" watch!
One day I'll have a blue fumé dialled Moser.....
If I could afford and it was real, I would have purchased one in a heart beat
Very clever,I appreciate clever.
The hmc also is in a font iwc uses.
I do like how H moser is the luxury troll of the watch industry
That ultra black is cool.
I love the designs of H. Moser, if I could afford one I would definitely buy it. Also algorithm.

Yeah… “Swiss Made” pretty much means nothing when what you really mean is “60% Swiss” 🤣
You’re welcome.
@@thetimeteller it means "at least 60%". Do you think Rolex for example is only 60%? Come on, you know what I mean Jory. It is the minimum.

The Endeavour perpetual calendar from H Mouser.
Streamliner had been my dream watch form the second I saw one 😮 I had no idea aside form the Apple Watch clown they were so antiestablishment/trolly 😂
I was aware of the Apple troll - but the Swiss Icons is GENIOUS! I've always liked their ultra minimal pieces - but now I absolutely love the brand.
I think they are my new favorite watch brand.
That 60% that the Swiss government talks about is of the total value that it takes to manufacture each watch so you could get a movement from China that cost $0.50 and just have one part from Switzerland that's astronomical and cost and you could still call it Swiss made
❤️❤️❤️❤️the bracelet on the HMoser Streamliner❤️❤️❤️❤️
