- #MNightShyamalan’s next film titled #Trap marks the filmmaker's next “big-budget” film, being released by none other than Warner Bros.
The film takes place at a very intriguing setting for a Shyamalan flick with a very different kind of premise.. The film will take place at a concert, only for said concert to serve as a “trap” to catch a serial killer known as “The Butcher”.
This sounds like a VERY ambitious next film for Shyamalan.

The trailer is the trap, thats my guess
There’s so many routes and twists this film and the marketing could go- I love it.
I thought the way he talked to the merch guy was weird too. Maybe their shutter Islanding this 😂 or maybe something like The Cell.
“Shutter island-ing it” 😆 Yeah, I definitely feel like the film’s gonna try to go out with a bang. I feel there are endless possibilities and theories for this one!
Saleka AKA Lady Raven is M. Knight's daughter and she is a real life singer. One of the detectives Haley Mills was a young girl in the original The Parent "Trap" In the trailer, you can see a sign for The Watchers which is M. Knight's other daughter's big directorial debut. Lot's of theories on what the twists may be: Is Josh a Dexter like killer? Like Split, is this partly in his imagination? M. Knight introduces the film as part of "the world of his films" so does that mean they are connected to a character, a specific film, or a universe of films? Does the world "Raven" from Edgar Allen Poe mean anything like a metaphor for Madness? Do all the tour dates symbolize anything? Lots of questions!
WOAH, I didn’t know all the hidden references! Yeah, this one has SO much potential for theories and questions. I think the idea of Josh Hartnett’s character being the potential killer AND being our main character that we’re following is gonna be very interesting with how much we have to go forward with: him being with his daughter, this “trap” setting, along with WHATEVER this movie’s big climax is.
That’s one thing that stood out to me as well was the “from the world of M Night Shyamalan” - the only “universe” he’s built is the unbreakable/split/Glass world, so you could be onto something.
@@PragmaticAddict Those characters kind of had closure though. The best theory I have read is that this is a The Sixth Sense sequel. You asked how the Feds would know hes there ? The kid from The Sixth Sense now gown up is helping the Feds catch killers by talking 2 the ghost of their victims
@@WaltRight hey, and knowing M Night Shyamalan, that is not a wild theory. I actually have fun with that theory because not only does it actually make sense, but also M Night has pulled this kind of stuff stuff before. and with all the theories, hype, speculation, and this being his first big budget Hollywood film in years, I could see this possibly going down the road of something like Split.
