we travel on ulysses every year to see my dad in bundoran its a long trip but worth it, it takes us 3 hours to get to holyhead and just over 3 hours on the ferry we have a a much needed rest because we travel at night, the best part is seeing dublin port and knowing the next part of the trip is 3 hours traveling through beautiful ireland and then the magic part is seeing my wonderful dad for a whole 5 days
Have to say your videos are 1st class quality, do you work on the docks? you seem to always get very good footage,,, booked on the Swift in early April but it will probably be cancelled as it always seems to be! lol,,, so maybe end up travelling on this bad boy instead :-)
+captain paul Thank you very much !. I just go down to the great south wall to get a few videos every now and then. The Ulysses is a great ship, a bit slower, but more enjoyable as far as I'm concerned ! :)
yea she looks fantastic, its just we are travelling with 2 young dogs that have never travelled much before so we picked the Swift because its quicker... i meant to ask you is the port tunnel the easiest way to get to the ferry terminal coming from the north side of Dublin, off the M1 direction or is down through the city heading towards the Point depot, just as easy? thanks in advance
The port tunnel is MUCH quicker although there is a 10 euro toll Monday to Friday between 6am and 10am (southbound) and between 4pm and 7pm (northbound). All other times it's 3 euros. Good luck :)
Thank you for watching !
Thanks for sharing ! i love watching the ships and truck leaving dublin port !
THAT'S A FERRY!!?? Holy Crap!! It's looks more like a cruise ship!! Nice Video!
