      Der Sinn hinter dem russischen Konvoi mit bis zu 14 Panzern, welcher dann das Feuer auf die ukrainischen Grenzpositionen eröffnet hat, lässt sich eigentlich ziemlich einfach beantworten, die Ukrainer sollen denken die Russen planen an dieser Stelle einen Vorstoß und die Ukrainer müssten logisch betrachtet, dann dort zur Verteidigung Truppen hinverlegen, die Russen versuchen damit wohl einfach die ukrainischen Truppen von anderen schwer umkämpften Frontabschnitten dort hinzulocken.
      Ein wenig Medienrummel wird da wohl auch eine Rolle spielen, aber viel hat die Ukraine nicht mehr und es würde mich nicht wundern wenn die nächsten Tage, noch mehr solcher Konvoiaktionen von den Russen kommen, damit die Ukrainer immer ein paar Truppen genau dort hin schicken müssen, eine total einfache Taktik.

    The US doesn't know the goals of the Kursk offensive because the Ukrainians don't know. They keep changing their story day by day. My guess is they want the Kursk NPP to use as a bargaining chip, but they're stuck fighting against smaller Russian forces that are holding up their elites. So in all reality, they may simply be trying to get NATO to get more involved before they're forced out.

    • @ian7033
      @ian7033 2 месяца назад +1

      You going to need a high intelligence to speculate what the Ukrainians plans are here, and theres not a high level making comments here. If Ukrainian plans could be predicted then Putin would not have lost Kursk. And they arent "stuck", they are simply starving the remainder of the Russian forces out. The Kursk offensive is the first move in a plan involving many moves but will be adaptive to circumstances.

    The danger for Ukraine was an over-expansion of the front due to Russian invasions in the north (such as in Kharkiv). The Ukrainians have now taken that away from the Russians by invading almost unmanned territory, getting lost there, and losing material and personnel that they urgently needed to defend the rest of the front.
    If it wasn't Russian strategy, they couldn't have come up with a better idea. In the first few days, every strategist was surprised. Now it's suddenly supposed to be a masterstroke by the Ukrainians, followed by the Zelensky credo: More weapons, more money! More weapons, more money! More weapons, more money! Of course, to end the war...

      The thing is, this isn't because Ukraine or Zelensky is stupid. It's because NATO is stupid. The leaders of NATO give Ukraine money and weapons only when Zelensky impresses them with shiny events. So, half his war aims end up having to be "creating shiny events for NATO". This was an effective shiny and will get him money and weapons, so it was, given his constraints, a good idea. In terms of fighting a war it was a stupid idea, but that's not the world Zelensky is allowed to live in.

As for Kursk , Ukraine has lost 86 tanks there, 4000 troops , 2 patriot systems , several Himar systems , hundreds of armored vehicles etc. No need to push them out, when a mistake is being made allow it to happen. So it begins the crying, more money, more weapons, humanitarian aid, give, give, give. I don't support Russia or Ukraine, but I'm getting exhausted by these costs, and most of all, the wasted human lives. People celebrate liberating a town like they've conquered an entire region when it's just a small part. What did they capture? Grocery stores, a few dozen villages, and farmland, or who knows what else they've got there, and they run around like headless chickens. If they don't capture the nuclear power plant by the end of the month, this operation will end in failure. Time isn't on their side the longer this drags on, the more the Russians learn their tactics and regroup. The psychological effect didn't work, as I haven't heard of mass protests in Russia or attempts to overthrow "Grandfather Frost." The most important question is how much equipment they've lost and how much money has been wasted. I'm increasingly starting to think that Putin is pleased with this invasion because he can defend, and the attacking army typically suffers more losses in both manpower and equipment. I don't believe for a second that they aren't taking heavy losses, and Donetsk is getting hit hard because the guys are driving around Kursk, taking pictures in villages, and dying for wheat fields.The only chance they have is if Russia's economy completely collapses, but they've been predicting that every year in the media, and nothing ever comes of it.

Ukraine currently has less than 1800 tanks, and around 300 western made artillery systems TOTAL for the entiore war and for all of its lines of contact. He has sopped caring about his forces in the Dombas and elsewhere and is using his best equipment and manpower in a suicidal and ill conceived NATO vanity project to deal death and destruction on Russian civilians.

    MILITARY TUBE TODAY - Fighting on the Kursk border, the soldiers of Russian Armed Forces destroyed Ukrainian militants after their positions were detected as temporarily settling in residential houses. Russian military correspondents published video on August 22, 2024, FPV drone attack scene with heavy lifting capability carrying 4 kg of thermobaric bombs, that directly hit enemy positions. The scouts noticed a special group of Ukrainian militants, who were carrying a bag of ammunition and hiding it in the extension of the house. Soon, two more militants joined them, and they all took refuge in the house. The attack was carried out on the militants, the house was destroyed first. After that, six militants tried to evacuate a wounded comrade to a nearby barn, but the barn was also destroyed. The last two militants took refuge in an extension, but a targeted strike was also carried out there.
    In a separate place, a Russian strike destroyed a house, on the upper of which there were several Ukrainian militants. Four survivors escaped from the ruins from another house to this house. However, they were immediately wipe out by thermobaric, which immediately smoked the house and the roof flew everywhere due to the explosion. According to information provided by Russian correspondents, no one got out of there after the attack. The maneuverability, range, acceleration of Russian FPV drones are now unmatched!

      Only someone very desperate would consider such a move, but why would Putin be desperate when Russia's territory spans 17 million square kilometers, and he's probably only lost 1,000 square kilometers of the Kursk region? It doesn't make any sense. To reach him, they would have to send around 500,000 soldiers with the most advanced equipment, air support, a multitude of drones, and so on, and even then, it would be difficult to break the Russians, who naturally don't like foreign armies on their own soil. And even if they succeeded, they would still have to maintain control, it's unrealistic and laughable.
