I tried out today but it came out too sticky and it did not become hard to make pieces out of it. It's become like Shira why? My aunt would make every year but she never put 250gms of rava and 250 gms of scraped (ground) coconut. The quantity of sugar should have been a little more to harden the cocada.The quantity of rava should have been less just to harden the coconut barfi. I wasted my time and energy making this recipe.
If mixture turned soft that means more stirring was required,just put it back in a heavy bottom vessel and continue stirring till you notice crystals forming or non sticky dough once you toch it.... And if you want harder texture then melt down 100g sugar with little water and add to the mixture and stir continuously till it's done as said about..... hope this will help you 👍
@@AishasCookeryKitchen Before I could get your reply I had put it in the oven but it turned out very hard and cannot be eaten. All waste. I made a mess. I was tensed so thought baking it for 5.minutes.
