The studio that made some spooky classics such as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Home Video Release Version), and A Nightmare On Elm Street (Which Gave the studio their nickname, "The House That Freddy Built"), as well as some more lighthearted movies like If I Stay, and The Jim Henson TMNT trilogy.
As a child, I used to think NLC was apart of Canadian company Alliance Atlanis (now eOne), this was because I used to see the Atlantis Alliance logo in the Lord of the Rings VHS
New Line made the mistake of acquiring Nelson Entertainment and its debt. Because it was highly unlikely that Crédit Lyonnais was willing to allow them to settle the debt. Sure enough, Crédit Lyonnais took the Nelson catalog away from New Line. And well you know the rest.

The black and white flashes of doom logo seem like the Asymetrical and Ear Booker Logos. But I think this RLE was a great tribute to Michael Lynne.
The black and white flashing one also reminds me of the black and white WGBH Logo from 1971-1977.
