Definition: An interjection is a word, which is used to express a sudden feeling or emotion.
Interjection គឺជាពាក្យដែលប្រើដើម្បីបង្ហាញពីអារម្មណ៍ ឬអារម្មណ៍ភ្លាមៗ។
Examine the following sentences:
Hello! What are you doing? សួស្តី! តើអ្នកកំពុងធ្វើអ្វី?
What! He is dead. ស្អី! គាត់ស្លាប់។
Ah! Have they gone? អា! តើពួកគេបានទៅទេ?
Hush! Don’t make a noise. ហាស់! កុំធ្វើឱ្យមានសំលេងរំខាន។
Wow! I won a big prize. វ៉ោវ! ខ្ញុំបានឈ្នះរង្វាន់ធំមួយ។
What! Didn’t you see her? ស្អី! តើអ្នកមិនបានឃើញនាងទេ?
Great! Kingdom of Cambodia. អស្ចារ្យ! ព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា។
*Note: Phrases and Sentences can be used as Interjections:
*ចំណាំ៖ ឃ្លា និងប្រយោគ អាចត្រូវបានប្រើជា Interjection.
Good morning! អរុណសួស្តី!
Good bye! លាហើយ!
How wonderful! អស្ចារ្យណាស់!
What a pity! អាណិតណាស់!
How short he is! គាត់ខ្ទាបអ្វីម្លេះ!
Farewell! លាហើយ!
Good Heaven! ឋានសួគ៌ល្អអ្វីម្លេះ!
Well I never! អញ្ចឹងខ្ញុំមិនដែលទេ!
Welcome! សូមស្វាគមន៍!
Your idiot! = a stupid person! មនុស្សល្ងង់របស់អ្នក!
