  • Sorry my head isn't always in frame! 4 weeks today I had my op at The Spire. Healing has gone really well save for a minor blip.

It looks so amazing!! The sutures are so thin - holy moley!
I hope the inflammation goes down soon.

I'm holding my breath in that the scars might stretch a bit. But we'll see . :)

Thank you very much! Kneeshaw is really lovely. If you go to his surgery on the NHS you're not guaranteed to get him specifically, but the other two surgeons Wooller and Grover have been trained by him, so you'll be in good hands either way. :)

Hey I was wondering if you were still using bandaids/dressings or ointment on your nips at this point? Please let me know! You look really good btw!:)

Is a post op binder similar in terms of compression to a normal binder or is it more comfortable?

It can vary quite a bit depending on make/design etc. With the white one I was given I'd say it was around the same amount of compression, but as it's not trying to shove chesticles out of the way it's less painful if that makes sense. Most of the pain has come from the fabric being in contact with my chest. It's slowly gotten better though. :)
