I, as someone who lives only about a half hour away from sfstl agree that we need a standout coaster. Hot days are the best days to go but you also need to take care of yourself on hot days. The hottest time I went, you could literally ride anything as much as you wanted to. I rode American Thunder about 6 times that day. I didn't hydrate enough and ended up throwing up in the parking lot on my way out. Good times!
Excalibur was completely gone when we visited the park this year. Best ride at the park for sure is Screamin' Eagle. It's actually in my top 5 for wooden coasters.
Have fun at cedar point I just got back and there trying out virtual reality on the iron dragon make sure to try that out it was amazing compared to what iron dragon was I was really good to me!
2:22 Actually our Batman came before Over Texas. We got ours in 1995 while they got theirs in 1999. Over Texas got their Pandemonium in 2008 while we got ours in 2007. We got Justice League rides at the same time. And our Mr. Freeze coasters opened at the same time. I guess all Six Flags parks are knockoffs of each other then. ; )
Last time I was at six flags stl I went specifically because of the new justice league dark ride. It was may, beginning of the season and that was the new hyped up ride. The park was dead, it was a cold day. No water rides were open yet that esrly in the season. Six flags stl is the closest theme park to where I livee 2 hours away so I've been probably a dozen times. But anyway, got to the park and went straight to justice league..... And it wasn't open yet. The website was advertising the ride, and failed to mention it wouldn't open until June, a week later. I havnt been back since. That pissed me off so bad lol.
sfsl probably won't get anything standout because didn't they make it so no attraction can cost more than 9 mill dollars??? If that is the case a hyper would cost 20 mill plus.
From what I can conclude form the video evidence in front of us, Boss was running good that day. I personally thought it is the single roughest coaster I have been on, even after riding Mean Streak and Georgia Cyclone. IMO, its just a high-speed headache, and is the prime candidate for a great RMC. A large number of people love this ride though, so it is less likely than almost universally hated coaster like the old Rattler, Dinn Cyclones and Mean Streak. The last time one of the fans visited there, it was running rough.
I just remember it being ridiculous, very comparable to Son of Beas tin roughness. I like Son of Beast but this ride's elements were nice but couldn't completely make up for its uncalled-for roughness

Ya. I rode batman 17 times in a row without getting off
Favorite coaster at park
Six Flags St. Louis is my home park. Boss is my favorite :D
Excalibur was completely gone when we visited the park this year. Best ride at the park for sure is Screamin' Eagle. It's actually in my top 5 for wooden coasters.
Xcalibur is by far the most intense flat ride I've ever been on. It's insane!
The best flat ride I've been on is probably Black Widow at Kennywood, since I didn't get a chance to ride The Crypt at KD.
+Evolution Epoch I would definitely take it over pendulum rides and top spins. That's me though
I LOVE BOSS!!!!
Yeah my home park!!!
Loving that Adele!
What's up yeah they definitely need a Hyper Coaster or a RMC of Boss
Screamin Eagle is fun too
Mr.Freeze is always a walk on
Magicfan09 Tip: if both sides are running, go to the left. I've heard there are less people there because they think right is better.
4:45 Awww, do you miss Son of Beast? That somehow cracked me up... It sounded like you we're patronizing him... Lol
Have fun at cedar point I just got back and there trying out virtual reality on the iron dragon make sure to try that out it was amazing compared to what iron dragon was I was really good to me!
Something else to notice here is the amount of relocated rides (Ninja, boomerang, Xcalibur, Colossus, Superman, and a couple kids rides)
I literally live 5 minutes away from six flags STL and I hate it some much especially when I just got back from cedar point

Cool park :-)
Taylor, would have have use for photos of rides (mainly coasters) testing or inoperative at Morey's Piers?
I don't think so, but thanks for the offer!
You're welcome! I just had my camera with me, and I know how you like to use footage and photos from fans.
I would love If u would come to Kings Dominion July 29th on a Friday it would mean the world to me
six flags has fun pix? or what was the thing Alec had on his lanyard?
I didn't think Son of Beast was that rough when I rode it in 2008
I rode it around that time too and I thought it was perfectly fine.
Really, really fun and wasn't all that rough.
Sad that it's gone though...
+Coaster Fan It wouldn't work that well, because of the cheap wood its made of.
+Coaster Fan Apparently the wood that makes up SoB was weak.
I hated it, but I was 6 years old

Mark Fullington its not strata
Mark Fullington it's 218 ft tall.
I live 15 to 20 minutes away from six flags st.louis. I can ride all the rides and i am 9 years old but i still did not :(
What did you think of Ninja? Was it bad?
Yes
What hotels did you stay at

sfsl probably won't get anything standout because didn't they make it so no attraction can cost more than 9 mill dollars??? If that is the case a hyper would cost 20 mill plus.

+Rob61 thx

This is not up to par with the six flags chain.
National Coaster News ya don't say
100th Comment!
Excalibur is lit! I forgot about that ride!!
Is the Boss still rough af??

They put new track on the ride in certain areas. I'm guessing that it has made the ride more smooth and less rough.
I rode it in late June and it was rough, but not unbearable. Its really rough because it runs with Gerstlauer trains
I just remember it being ridiculous, very comparable to Son of Beas tin roughness. I like Son of Beast but this ride's elements were nice but couldn't completely make up for its uncalled-for roughness
