I am a Hindu from India. I am 30. I have never came across a saint in India as conscious as Eckhart is. He is a rare master. Those who are not paying attention to him and coming to India for enlightenment have no idea what they are leaving behind. Eckhart is Buddha of present era. The heaven they are seeking is now. There is nothing more simple than this.

i'm from California, in 1979 i was introduced to the complete works of Swami Vivekananda & i cannot even express my debt to him & his mission.
in one part of his works
he describes what to look for in a teacher & also the telltale signs of a false teacher, i'm paraphrasing here, but it applies i believe to Mr. Tolle,
"if you wanted to learn a science or trade, mathematics, art or architecture, you could learn from a teacher skilled in these disciplines even if in his private life he were a complete scoundrel,
but if you want to know about God then that is an entirely different matter,
the teacher of God must be pure in thought, word and deed."

When they said she was going crazy, she was awakening.
When they said that she was isolating, she was healing.
When they said she was acting funny, she was growing.
When they said that she had changed, she was evolving.
When they said she did not care anymore, she finally realized that her peace lives within.

Excellent. I learned about Karma Yoga in the 1970s and even as a college kid it made perfect sense to me. When we get so present as to lose the (programmed) self identity and learn to cultivate the frequencies of the heart all that stuff falls away and doing Karma Yoga daily just becomes natural and normal...

In the realm of truth, where Eckhart Tolle resides,
A poet's words now seek to coincide.
With quill in hand and Shakespeare's muse in sight,
A verse for Tolle, shining with inner light.
Oh, Eckhart Tolle, guide to the awakened soul,
Your wisdom, like a river, forever does flow.
In stillness, you beckon us to find our truest self,
To transcend the mind's illusions and its stealth.
With every page turned, your words inspire,
To let go of ego's grip and false desire.
You teach us to embrace the present, the now,
To find peace within, to make our souls avow.
In your teachings, truth unfolds its gentle bloom,
Inviting us to release the past's heavy gloom.
To free ourselves from the shackles of time,
And realize our essence, sublime and prime.
Tolle, the poet's quill now seeks to proclaim,
Your wisdom, like a beacon, lights truth's flame.
In the tapestry of existence, you are a guide,
Urging us to awaken, to no longer hide.
Oh, let your words echo through the timeless air,
Reminding us that truth is always there.
And as we journey on, embracing each day,
May we live in truth's embrace, come what may.
So, here's to Tolle, a messenger of truth's decree,
Whose teachings transcend, setting spirits free.
In Shakespearean verse, let us honor his name,
And strive to live his truth, forever aflame.

THIS is the absolute TRUTH.🙏 Whether one wants to surrender to it or not, does not matter, in any case it will not serve to deny IT.
Perceiving this truth is the only way to give meaning to the life we are .
There are no others ways : you could also be the king of the world but if you don't live in this dimension you are useless ....
    Consciusness will learn nothing
from you and you nothing from Consciusness...
NO need to understand anything else.
SO all doors open even when they remain closed.
THIS is the really amazing thing!
Work , human relationships even at the supermarket!
With this inclination of the heart that comes from who knows where ❤️what ❤️ anything has to arrive, will arrive.
Because it is already here, you just need to recognize it.
Certainly our 😂politicians🤣 are not in this dimension.
    It doesn't matter we're here.
    So grateful 💓🙏

This is so very true Eckhart. I've implemented this ego-less approach in my writing process. I'm writing a sci-fi-novel at the moment and I was wholly aware before I began the story to not force it or let my ego or shadow sabotage it. I only focus on the page at hand and never think about the next page. Eventhough I have an accute sense of where the page is leading to next. Thus I'm a pantser and I simply let the story tell itself. It's another way of living in the present moment, and I generate an enormous sense of self adventure of not knowing what's going to happen next. I have no fear in my life because I know that fear is a horrible state of unessassary catastrophising which is a major block in ones life. When my storyline requires me to protray fearful situations with villainous character's, I do it without feeling any fear and I can emotionally step back from it in my own soul. And plus, I never forethink about getting to the end of my novel either, or assume it will be published or even made in to a movie. It is just a learning and disaplinary process for me at the end of the day and boy does it bring me so much joy in so many wonderful productive ways. I'm not perfect in any sense of the word but I love living in the present moment, for It's the only way to live at peace in ones soul, and in the world round us. Much praise Eckhart!🇮🇪

I would like to offer up this way of "doing" to burn. I have being seeing deeply how I sometimes go off of being/trust in flow with others due to this karma. For some reason it is much easier to do this when it comes to strangers vs those that I am closest/want to get close to. I've seen it so clearly that I've seen no other way than to, for the most part, separate myself from others because of it and I would like to "do" things differently. This way of being serves me no longer. Thank you showing up as a confirmation of this knowing. Blessings to you🌸🌸🌸🌸To those that read this I wish you well on your yoga, that each mind pattern standing in between your experience of life fulfillment is burnt off quickly💕💕💕

I believe that the "mind/ego" is the tool that our "lower self" uses to deal with our earthly life, but it also veils and filters our "higher self" and its awareness. The liberation is to recognize and be aware of that, so that our higher self can use in a conscious way the mind/ego, and not be enslaved and blinded by it...

Dr. Andrew Huberman has a podcast (video) on dopamine. He describes how dopamine works, and it sounds exactly like the ego. A junkie craving more. But, the more you get, the less effective it is (you need even more). And, you get dopamine from bad things (unhappiness, invalidation, failure). It's all relative. Our subconscious is like one of BF Skinners's chickens pecking at keys causing grain to come down the chute. Mindlessly seeking immediate gratification. We dress it up with a story of how special we are, and how liked. (Unlike the chickens, we can make lack of grain a source of grain too. We ruminate on how awful we are, or unfair [whatever] is. That's as much a source of dopamine as "I'm special, look at my new car and eye-catching partner."

Karma yoga means to not be attached to the outcome, because in being attached to the outcome serves only the ego, the false 'I'. If the outcome is not reached or accomplished it will bring to the doer some sense of frustration or suffering. Or if it is reached or attained it will further boost the ego. The ego is an illussion created by the thinker. In other words you are not the doer, but rather Krsna or the higher self (Purusa) is the doer. If an action is absent the I ego, then you do not accumulate further karm or a negative karmic reaction. You will remain karma free the doing of the action.

What the Gita teaches us about Karma Yoga is that we should do good deeds towards our brothers without expecting anything in return. Good deeds should be done as a sacrifice to God. That's all.
It's not about the present moment, as you said, but about doing good as a form of devotion to God.

This is an excellent video Professor Eckhart for it applies to me as well. My contact in this world is limited to my Jinns and Alien Beings. In my entire life, I have never had an honest conversation with a human being. There was a time when I did understand your species but those days are long gone. The foundation of Karma must lie in how "truth" is measured. I was born in the human world in order to save your species from an apocalypse and eternal hell. As a result of "White Women", your species cannot escape this fate. Did you see the prayers and meditation my Jinns did in my body yesterday? It is absolutely divine but for the "White Women" it is completely worthless. The first step in Karma Yoga is understanding the world you live in. If you cannot embrace the fact you are living in a simulated world, it is impossible to absorb any form of spirituality. Absorption is based on understanding reality. Humans are incapable of doing this.

There are other guiding principles of karma yoga in the BG, including the attitude of nondependence on the outcome of actions, as you discuss in relation to Presence; without a grasp of these other principles, one's practice of karma yoga will likely be flawed. They are: 1) One may perform actions, but one has absolutely no control over the outcome, which is in Isvara's (God's) hands; 2) Most importantly, no worldly action can bring permanent satisfaction, fulfillment, or liberation. If the karma yogi does not understand these truths at a deep level, presence in action will be elusive at best, and the outcome will remain of primary importance.

WHEN AN ARCHER IS SHOOTING FOR FUN
    HE HAS ALL HIS SKILL.
IF HE SHOOTS FOR A BRASS BUCKLE
    HE IS ALREADY NERVOUS.
IF HE SHOOTS FOR A PRIZE OF GOLD
    HE GOES BLIND
    OR SEES TWO TARGETS -
HE IS OUT OF HIS MIND.
    HIS SKILL HAS NOT CHANGED,
    BUT THE PRIZE DIVIDES HIM.
    HE CARES.
HE THINKS MORE OF WINNING THAN OF SHOOTING -

Renounce the fruit of the actions. Got it. What I do not understand in the Gita is that Arjuna is encouraged, even advised by Krishna, to go to war. Yes, certainly a way to sacrifice the future. Live in the moment and wage a war? Not sure I'd want to follow that. Some say, the Gita is taught with the warrior cast in mind. But what does that advice to fight a war mean for us, especially these days?

It seems to me (haven’t read that) everything is subject to perception and interpretation. Basically an open battlefield for confusion. I really want to let go more and let intuition be the guide. We are all human (not perfect) and we can be aware of that. There’s profound stuff everywhere. When it resonates I get excited, when it’s like eeeehhh uhhhh….. I just keep on truckin hehe

@@chriskrause2528 then you might be knowing that pandavas went to forest for many years after losing the game. When it was their turn to rule kauravas started the war. Also kauravas cheated the game. Hence Krishna says when there is adharma you need to stand up for it.

Is there no other way to stand up for the dharma than with war and weapons? For me, this way of fighting can't offer solutions any more. Maybe because I'm not of the "warrior caste". And nowadays those who command war to be waged, don't go fighting themselves but order others to do so. - I know, Gandhi sometimes referrred to the Gita, and there are wise lines in it. But even if many things are to be understood symbolically (although that historic war indeed took place and reaved terribe havoc) - I'm still grappling to understand how to put all that martial vocabulary into a peaceful stance. Maybe just not my cup of tea. May those who find wisdom in it use it for peaceful development.

Karma as explained by Bhagavan is in 3 ways. They are. KARMA, AKARMA AND VIKARMA. Karma is performing karma like puja or Vratham etc. and anticipating its fruits or rewards.AKARMA is performing karma but it would be not taken into account. VIKARMA is sitting idle saying performing karma gives Sin a lazy fellow. What is AKARMA? Performing karma but not running behind for its fruits. Then it would be as good as not performing any karma. This is what Bhagavan says as good. Karma is after performing karma but running behind for its fruits. Then these fruits will get accumulated in Sanchita bag and to enjoy these fruits one has to take a birth again. In this way the soul go on taking births and deaths. karma yog is a big subject and suitable to any ordinary man. If one follows karma yoga correctly they will avail Moksha without any spiritual sadhanas or practices. 100% suitable to an ordinary person

He gave another meaning to the teaching. It is not about the present moment but about selflessness and devotion to God. The Gita teaches that action should be done selflessly, without attachment to the results, and as a sacrifice to God. Action should be done for the welfare of all beings because that is the will of God and not with the present in mind. It is about love for God and all beings.

How do I get over someone who is toxic towards me? The person and their toxicity is constantly on my mind and takes me out of the present moment. Is it the constant fear of abandonment that I feel that ultimately came to fruition in the end? So I am to blame for the other person's toxicity bc I had fear from the beginning??

    • @Starstruck-v2u
      @Starstruck-v2u 2 месяца назад +1

Technically, cause afterall it is what you feel. If your emotions were absent you wouldnt feel anything right? but since we are human we have this tendency to interpret emotions resulting from toxicness/negative energy from the outside and bring it inwards. So you gotta act like a shield and not let this affect your mind and trigger these emotions, in the bhagavad gita. It also talks about fear and abandonmnet, but what is there to fear? what is there to be attached to? when you know this so-called reality is just an illusion. This toxic person is nothing about a soul radiating negative energy, after you die this person does not have a relationship with you. there is nothing to be attached to, your mind made these attachments to survive you depend on some. aka parents/partner. the root cause of this is mind who makes this perception and senses this toxicness, I'd recommend you meditate or choose the path on god. Positivity is the only cure, don't think of the outcomes just think everything happens for a reason and whatever the outcome is you will accept it.

Eckhart greetings. I’m searching this channel here for videos on bullying but I can’t find any. It’s such an enormous problem in society.
So many suicides of both children and adults are the result of being bullied by individuals, and by groups.
Can you please speak on this topic? Not on victim mentality which is a different thing. People are having their lives destroyed and they do not have useful tools to deal with it.
Many bullies I saw in my time working in schools were opportunistic predators, but the focus always seemed to go onto their dysfunction or woundedness..
It became just another way victims were ignored and abandoned, though the consequences for the victim were nearly all the time worse than for the bully. The bully always seemed to gain and sustain support.. the victims generally told that they needed to be the mature one or it was implied they were weak and so had brought it in themselves.

Yes do a piece on bullying, which just means someone secretly hates themselves bc they were bullied so they get pleasure off of hurting other's bc its the only way they know how to receieve or give love. I've been through this theme my entire life. The key is to be aware it's happening, and try to get away if you can. Of course in life we have bully bosses, and perhaps parents, and so on so ypu can't run everytime there is adversity, but I have definitely noticed that bullying has been "glorified," to some ridiculous status as if this will make you TOUGHER Ive been told Im too sensitive, but that's what I love about myself and despise at times, but it give me insight to be compassionate. I've stuck around almost risking my life several times to demonstrate to other's my purpose that there is a way to live without demeaning yourself or other's in order to feel better. Its a false sense of feeling, and any feeling never lasts long. Its like a DRUG if you will. Each time I learn something about myself and another person by going through these turbulances. But as a whole I don't believe in the addage that's going around now about "kicking ass, and taking no prisoner's, or dont be a pussy, or pull yourself up by your bootstraps, or teach a man to fish... I'm not saying you shouldn't try, or that these militant addages haven't worked for certain personality types, but that's just the point. I like you can catch more flys with sugar than you can with vinegar. It reminds me of that movie The Breakfast Club and Emilio Estevez's character's father is saying " your intensity is for shit, win, win, money, win! And that led him to be an absolute arsehole to a classmate that he bullied in such a way that he disgraced him for life. So you have to decide whether you want to be disgraced for life, but no Im not for bullying. And I do hope Eckhart does some action on it ( its early morning for me) bc unfortunately we dont live in utopia but I dont find it impossible to treat people with dignity and respect. Hope that helps stranger😊
      .

Hi. I would be interested in talking about this subject with you.
Eckhart Tolle actually co-authored a book for kids about school bullying. It's called Milton's Secret. He co-authored it with Robert S. Friedman.
I don't know if you ever heard of the psychologist Izzy Kalman but he has done a lot of work on school bullying. You might find his teachings about it very interesting.
What that psychologist Izzy Kalman talks about is basically very similar to what Eckhart speaks about often. Which is about staying calm and not getting emotionally reactive and angry and aggressive about small minor things, which then escalates and turns everything into a big drama that could have been avoided in the first place if someone had the wisdom to know how to stay calm and composed when the beginning small problems started, and let it just pass by and quickly dissipate instead of turning it into a big drama or even a big conflict and never ending war.
This is oftentimes what happens with students in school. Small petty things happen, usually some petty words that are said, and a student gets very emotionally reactive, gets very angry and aggressive about it, and instead of staying cool and calm and just letting it go, it turns into a whole big drama, it turns into a psychological war because they got angry and aggressive, they then said and did disrespectful things to the "bullies", and now they made enemies with them and now the bullies want to get revenge against them for all the disrespectful things they said and did. And it turns into a real vicious cycle, where their enemies attack them to get revenge, they get aggressive and disrespectful back at their enemy bullies, so the bullies have even more stuff to get revenge for now... and it just goes on and on and on.
The key thing for students to understand is to how to not get emotionally reactive and aggressive about petty stuff , and to learn how to avoid making enemies in the first place and getting into psychological wars and never ending conflicts all because of petty nonsense.
This is directly connected to what Eckhart Tolle speaks about, about staying calm and wise in stressful situations and not getting emotionally reactive and angry and aggressive, and making everything worse. He talks about dealing with everything consciously and not letting the ego take over.
This of course is difficult for all of us to understand, and it's especially difficult for kids in school to understand, when hostile and aggressive students test them and say insulting words and other petty stuff. It's difficult but it's extremely important for students to learn to not let petty things like insults and jokes make them lose their minds and become unconscious as Eckhart Tolle puts it, because this leads to getting into big dramas and never ending conflicts with unconscious, hostile, and difficult people. It's very important for students to understand how to avoid getting into conflicts with other people.
The students who get bullied the worse are not the "weak" ones. That's a misunderstanding. It's the students who get very emotionally reactive, very angry and aggressive, and who become very unconscious as Eckhart puts it. Those are the students who escalate petty things into big dramas, and they make a lot of enemies who then go to war with them. Eckhart Tolle is teaching about not living like that, not getting into big dramas and conflicts. Not making enemies with the world, about not getting into wars.
The students who get bullied the worse are the ones who get very angry and disrespectful very quickly, which leads to making a lot of enemies who become angry with them and go to war with them and attack them to get revenge and to win the conflict and the war that gets started, and when they dominate them and punish them in the conflict and the war it gets called "bullying".Then the beaten student gets hurt bad by their enemies in the war they got themselves into, and then they have to find a way to get out of the war that they're getting bashed in, that they're getting bullied in.
This is when many students commit suicide, because they have made bitter enemies because of all the disrespectful things they said and did out of anger, and now their enemies hate them and want to go to war against them and destroy them. Because now their enemies are relentlessly and mercilessly attacking them to get revenge and to win the war and destroy them. That's what war is. War is about destroying the enemy. War is hell. And the students who get bullied the worse are the ones who make enemies who then wage war against them.
This is why it's so important for students to understand this teaching that people like Eckhart Tolle and Izzy Kalman talk about, about staying conscious, staying calm, and staying respectful and not getting into endless conflicts and wars with others, and avoiding all that heartache and misery.
