I would have jumped at this in my youth - we took on something almost as bad in the late 1960's and it is not hard when you have the energy & enthusiasm of youth ! This could be a beautiful home - clear out, rip off the roof & rebuild that first - then sort out the damp walls - dig all around the property to install a damp proofing system - I think the land this has is a real plus - hope the new owner will have it sorted in no time !
