Just for reference I am an extremely pale individual and the fair shade does in fact work for me. Idk how they did it but it starts off really orange on me then blends in perfectly to my almost white complexion. So if you are pale and wanting to try this I would go ahead and buy it.
LOL I never wear it down - especially for videos because people complain if it's not up while doing makeup and by the time I'm done filming I don't have time to fix it for one 30 second final shot because NEW MOM PROBS haha

I’m not a huge fan of BM eyeshadow, being older with darker lids their light colors let the dark spots shine through and just don’t show up very well. This look is stunning on you, your complexion after the baby is stellar!!!
Shelbey, I don't like the Loreal plumping lip gloss either...no plumping effect, and it felt dry on my lips; I was disappointed. The Buxom brand is good, and even better I like Soap and Glory's Sexy Mother Pucker line.

I just bought the Maybelline glow stuff! I thought it was going to be too dark but it somehow still works. I think it’s beautiful! I didn’t use it all over my face though, just as a cheekbone highlight.

Try not to feel bad about your hair loss. I had bariatric surgery last August and lost 60% of my hair. It grows back in 1-1/2 year's but it was just hard as a woman to deal with. Love the look! You're dialed in..

The elf putty blushes are very different in pigmentation depending on the shade! I would highly recommend in googeling swatches before ordering! (or swatch in store if it is possible)

Hi Shelbey, the Maybelline Glow Perfector looks lovely on your skin. It looks very much like the Tinted SPF 47 Moisturizer from Josie Maran. The only difference is that the Josie Maran product looks very glowy/reflective, as if it's been mixed with Charlotte Tilbury's Hollywood Flawless Filter.
This look is so amazing, I love it! Your skin is glowing, I now have to run out and buy that makeup! I also really love that eyeshadow palette. I used to work for Bare Minerals too, and I agree about what you said about pigment! Have you tried their Gen Nude Coppers Palette? I just got it, and those colors would look amazing on you (I have green eyes too)! Love the lipliner, another product I need to buy! Great video😘

Regarding the hair loss, I know first hand how much it sucks. I didn't give birth but for some reason (unknown to the 3 derms I've seen) I've lost a lot of hair since the beginning of 2020 & nothing I've tried seems to help. My only advice is to not stress too much about it because that'll make it worse. P.S. The little baby squeals in the background always make me smile!

On the hand swatches, the second (darker?) one looked peachy/pinker compared to the lighter swatch. It was pretty obvious. Maybe once blended on the face it looked the same?
I've seen about 5 or maybe more video reviews of the Perfecter. I finally caved and put in an Ulta order. I'm not a foundation girl, I use powder over liquid, I'm more all about a good concealer. My mature skin is still quite oily, so I'm a bit skeptical of the glow, I hope it isn't too much!
I have the same problem, because my eyelids are super oily. I use the Anastasia primer and it keeps them from creasing all day! If you don't want to spend the $$ on the ABH primer, Profusion has a primer (Walmart) that works really well too! ❤️

I'm going to let everyone in the comments handle this because I am the opposite and have dryer lids so I find if I use a primer with them, it's not only unnecessary but messes with the shades. I would imagine a translucent primer or something with no pigment would be best though!
Shelby Have u tried the bare minerals skin care lines? I love my bare minerals. I use the complexion rescue stick all of time now and also use the original mineral powder foundation. I very had no problems with their makeup so wanted to try their skin care line but nervous cuz of other reviews I'm seeing and reading. So I just was hoping to get your thoughts. I had to get used to Buxoms plumping lip gloss. It smelled strongly of coffee, and not in a good way. Dolly is my favorite. I got a lipstick mini years ago. I prefer that color in a lipstick, but I don’t think it’s made anymore.
Coffee?! None of mine have ever smelled like coffee but I think we all perceive scents differently. They're nostalgic for me because they remind me of working for bareMinerals when I was 18 and they were still sold under the company umbrella haha
Taupe generally would fall in the cool category but the colour pop blonde brow gel I used in this video actually had a bit of a warmer undertone - not super ashy!
I've seen lighter skin shades use this just fine. They just use way less. It did seem like a lot but I love the way it came out being it's a peeerrfect shade match for her.
The tube looks like a baby bottle. Trying to copy pink Glossier? Could you sheer/thin it out with anything? I love Bobbi Brown cream blushes. Nobody talks about them.

Personally, I think people are too quick to post their children publicly. Children cannot consent to it. Even if you do ask them, they don't understand or know what agreeing to that means. *smh*

How did it go? A sheer liquid can do wonders for mature skin, especially with dewy youthful look.

Wet n wild has a good affordable eye primer too. I have super oily lids and all eyeshadows, powder, liquid or cream, always crease on me.

What brow gel would you recommend for a blonde/light brown COOL tone? Something that doesn’t look taupe!

Drugstore foundations are never light enough for my fair skin and I'm not even super fair. 😒
Also my problem and on the off chance it’s light enough, the undertone is way off.
Get a full coverage light foundation and add moisturizer. Have you tried this ?
