Wow, fabulous. I just performed this at a choral festival (after studying it for about a day and a half... yikes!), and it was so much fun.

The pacing seems strange. The recording I used to listen to of this had a slightly increased tempo, giving it that more lively feel. Maybe this was just the conductor's preference. But it doesn't feel like the same piece. The execution outside of the pacing is quite nice, though.

@joncampbell21 After listening to hours of this video to find the right one for my class, I really wouldn't call this awful. It's actually pretty good! They don't seem extremely excited about the piece, though, which does disappoint me. It's supposed to be exciting, not dull and monotonous. Oh well, what're you going to do?... find another piece, I guess. =/ I don't have many critiques, other than the lack of excitement.

The music is too loud in comparison to the choir...

Definitely the tempo is too slow and and they need to do more with the dynamics. Still a wonderful work.

The performance is too slow and there's not enough shaping of dynamics. The conductor's beat pattern is quite monotonous.
