I figured out what was wrong. I found this(androidx.recyclerview.widget.RecyclerView.ViewHolder) in my imports which was causing the issue. I wouldn't have noticed it if I hadn't seen your full code at the end 😅. Keep up the good work, I'm learning a lot 😀

Yes, I faced the same problem just remove the above import and you are good to go :-)
