Roxy is unusual. She's a lot like Freddy when it comes to her self awareness, especially after Cassie deactivates Roxy when she was still a security node, and you can even see her attack the Mimic to protect Cassie.
Which explained the reason why she wasn't hacked as much as Monty and Chica did. Like Funtime Foxy in "FFPS" game, who admitted to get scooped out as soon as possible, opposite to Ballora that refused to be scooped.

By that logic it wouldn't have made sense that freddy is keeping gregory safe since right at the beginning from security breach he said that gregory wasn't in his database implying that it was the first time the two meet

I think we all missed something obvious. FIVE nights at freddy's. Who would be dumb enough to go back 5 times? Each night will be a new character. They're taking a new approach and aiming to tie up all loose ends. This was a free dlc, the second night. We have 3 more to go before this story finds a closer.

Tbh i don’t blame Roxanne for being upset with Gregory he took the one thing she loved doing more than anything in the world and that is being able to admire herself even if she is narcissistic she still finds joy in looking at herself in the mirror and Gregory took that away making destroying her SB kinda tragic he stripped the one thing that she loved And Gregory kinda did the same thing to Freddy in a way emotionally he destroyed all of his friends behind his back who he treasured and have been friends with for years. Than lying to him also calling them monsters and they can’t be redeemed seeing them as objects not living things with emotions like Cassie does and even though Freddy knew they were being Mind Controlled he showed no emotion or any attempt to save them 😢 I do think Gregory as a Protagonist and his True colors will be eventually revealed he’s just been alone for so long and can’t trust anyone he deems everyone as a threat immediately until he met Freddy who actually cared for him and eventually won over his trust so if given time and Cassie appealing to him I bet he would have regretted hurting them
I think that helping wasn't a choice, the animatronics are much stronger than Gregory, no matter how hard he tries, there's no way to even get close, much less get them out of William's influence, there's nothing to do. The only way was to simply leave to see if he called for help or just leave, William is very strong unfortunately.

I really love the take on the animatronics in this timeline of FNAF. They convey so much emotion and personality (which is reasonable because this is literally the future, technology has improved a lot). It's cool how the animatronics are less creepy and given more facial expressions, smoother movements and advanced AI voice to make them act more human. It's sad to see the current state of all the animatronics in this timeline having their bodies withered away and forgotten by people. But some still retained their original system like how Roxy treated Cassie. Sun as well.
