The T-100 is my go to lake rod. Works great for panfish and bass. Would be perfect for fishing trout in mountain lakes, but I don't have those around here, unfortunately.

I have your T 100 rod, but haven't used it in alpine lakes. The last couple of years I have very successfully fished 1/32 oz. and 1/16 oz. tube jigs in alpine lakes with spinning gear. Next year, I'll try the Keiryu rod with these jigs. It's like fishing a trout magnet with no bobber, except the Trout Magnets are 1/64 oz. and the jigs that I will use are slightly heavier. Will let you know how it goes. Thanks for the informative video.

Thanks for being a customer and for your rig input. The tube jigs might work quite well - perhaps a little jigging action? Look forward to seeing how it goes!

The T100 is great for lakes. I catch big Bows, Browns and Cutthroats at Crowley Lake with mine. I fish midges under a bobber in my floattube. You can jig and present the fly in ways you can't with standard flyfishing.

Thanks for sharing. Awesome to hear you've had great success with the T on Crowley Lake!
