I mean, naruto had the reasons to become evil too, but sasuke and naruto’s stories were different ones. naruto never actually got to meet his family, which can leave a scar, but not a bigger scar than seeing your family die in front of you. sasuke witnessed it with his eyes, in fact, itachi forced 7 years old sasuke to watch their parents die exactly 518,400 times under his tsukuyomi , and that is a major trauma that can’t be healed. you say he was treated like a king, but think about it twice. being treated good doesn’t heal trauma, especially not one like his. his ideal of revenge was a fair one, and you can’t deny it. he wasn’t aware of the fact that itachi sacrificed himself and his clan to save konoha, and, as he wasn’t, his only thought was getting revenge on the one who got everything away from him. what would you do if you saw your already dead parents die in front of you more than 500k times bro? think about it wisely. with this, i’m obviously not saying that naruto’s childhood was a good one, and i’m not saying that sasuke’s childhood was worse than naruto’s. - i know it’s been almost a year since you posted this comment, but i just wanted to post my opinion on this, for whoever still thinks that sasuke had no reason to leave the village to take his revenge -stay safe and remember to drink water < 3
I like this take on the whole emotionless trope It's not that he outright lost his emotions it's that he doesn't seem to acknowledge or act on them, simply falling back on cold logic to further his goals
The actually Story is that he was bullied from adults thekids was too scared and he was veryvvery hype and even faioed the clone jutsu several times i think 3 times he never came late
