Nice vlog again , well done, 😂 mineral is natural oil. Why not try coolly flowers oil .. sounds good too 😂 I googled it , it’s sunflower oil 👍🏻 Tip .. you can’t change the nav light for led. Wicked but true.... is you go to led make sure you use 2400 to 2700 kelvin led lights. The yellow-ish original light colour must be matched. I just had enough if it .. bought a new tire led driven tri-colour ( same brand )
Haha, yes, I know it is sunflower oil. I was searching for the general term of such oils :D Oh, we already changed the light for LED. We found them when we went to Athens/Piraeas for loads of stuff we needed and we couldn't get over here. It looks good, though. So maybe no problem. And otherwise I'll put some yellow plastic foil in the lamp. We bought the strongest LED-light we could find.
Yeah, the list gets shorter and shorter! :-) We hope to start sailing around April. We are just doing the jobs that are really neccesary to safely sail away. But we also have our regular jobs, so we can't refit full time.
Hi! Yes, they work as they should, so far. The last trip we made, from the island Kefalonia (Greece) to Ithaka, the depth sounder even gave readings up to 60 meters of depth, which is more than we expected, because the max would be approximately 40 meters with an inboard mounting. Also the windmeter works fine. It even survived a hurricane (see other video). Other boats in the same bay measured up to 115 knots of wind! The only problem we have, is the three colour/anchor light. When on anchor (so with the wind from the front), it disturbs the wind flow along the sensor now and then, because the light it higher than the sensor. But of course when sailing, that is never a problem :-)

Hi! I don't know what you mean. This thing only gives apparent wind... 🤔 It is not connected to gps or to a speed-o-meter, so it can't know what the true wind is when sailing.

Yes, fine. It's a shame yours sucks, man! Reading less than 50 meters depth and sometimes even 60 is good. When deeper, we just switch it off. And we just have depth and wind. Not speed. We had condensation one time, in one of the gauges, but it never came back.
