I've seen where others have placed logs or wood pieces at the bottom of the tank to cut down on the amount of expensive soil needed to fill the tank. The wood breaks down eventually and adds to the soil.
Great idea! That would work really well too. Thanks so much for watching & commenting.
Your video was excellent in all ways.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it.
Hello I love your stock tank idea and gonna try it 😊
That’s great Kim! We love ours. Such a great way to garden in otherwise unfavorable areas. Let us know how it turns out. Be sure to follow along on instagram for more in the gardens. Thanks for watching.

Thank you! It has been great having the stock tanks for additional growing areas. Thanks for watching & commenting.
Your garden looks amazing! I can see you put a lot of hard work into it and it really shows in your plants. I wanted to get out in my garden today and plant some cucumbers but it was our first 90+ degree day of the year and I just could not handle the heat. I just love to garden but I still have a lot I want to learn. I make garden videos too. I hope we can learn more from each other as we grow our gardens and our channels
Thank you. We love getting out in the garden & growing as many fresh vegetables as we can. We have started to put more emphasis on seasonal eating & stocking up our pantry with good healthy homegrown foods. We will check out your channel for sure. Good luck in your garden!!
Awesome

Hi, I’m just wondering how it looks on the bottom? I have one of these, but it has no holes on the bottom. Should I drill holes into it? Or should I take the bottom out so that the soil can go to the ground?
The bottom is solid. There is a drain at the back of the tank where any excess water can drain out. We do not drill holes in our tanks. The drain that comes on the tank works fine. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching & commenting.
How had this belt up
They are holding up great! We are going strong with year round growing in them. Thanks for watching & commenting.
Where did you buy the stock tanks?
Great question. We got them at tractor supply. There are links in the video description. Thanks for watching.
