    Brings back lots of memories. There's only been one Lady-Day! (must say JJJ that the re-mastering is excellent). I remember this Verve LP very well because i found it, at the time, somehow slightly dullish in it's recording process by, if i'am correct, Val Valentin, who was in my opinion, with Rudy van Gelder the best of recording engineers around. So thank you JJJ for this fantastic upload & Cheers!

      @@portugalete hi. just look for Billie Holiday with Lester Young. not to say that this particular record is not good ! because it IS very good. But it is very well known that Billie and Lester had a very special musical and human relationship which made their playing together something very special.
