The volume of material is just unbelievable! And I'd imagine that's only from a small area relative to the whole USA. Thanks for posting and explaining the processes. I'm finding it fascinating and eye opening!
We always hit the cans with a battery powered blower before lowering it to reduce haulback. Most of the time we can get nearly 100% and there’s not even dust in there. If the can sat for a while and/or got rained in, we can’t get everything, but it certainly helps with washing them out. Keeps a bunch of mess off the ground when washing them later. Thanks for including us in the thumbnail.
Its crazy how much cardboard and metal gets buried in the landfill taking up valuable space !! Its good to see you set up a system to recycle the materials ! Merry Christmas !!
There is enough scrap pipe right there to build a triangle stand with a hook on top to hang that pump from so you can just go in and be able to lift it and move it around if you need to. It will keep your pump from sucking up any mud. Because the way you left it you just made another problem you will have to come back and fix again. I hate to say it but this is not the last water main break you are going to have.
Some thoughts from a retired Cat service rep - most Cat dealer stores are designed in a “T” shape. With the office on the leg, and the parts dept. on one branch of the T and the service dept. on the other branch. If designed right, any one of the three branches can be easily expanded/extended for growth. Plus walking between the three branches is easy if inclement weather. Could do with your office/shop/ recycling concept. Obviously depends on the available land and configuration.
Did you ever consider an architect to view, understand what you are planning and long term plans for the business? Might be worth a consult, a few hours and money well spent. You could even include the nursery.
I grew up in a family that had a sanitation business for three generations! I worked on the route from the age of 11! That is correct, child labor was acceptable in the 70's! I made two trips to the dump every day with the 20 yard rear load sanitation truck 7 days a week! We did get Christmas day off and weekdays during the school year and worked the rest of the time! Kids today have no idea!
maybe see somehow get that camper into the shredder for one it who'd be neat seeing that shredder eat it! then it will save you room also ! but for most of all have a very merry Christmas to you and family and friends and all of your workers !
With that camper, why not use the excavator & remove the body, and use the frame and make a flatbed trailer out of it. Just my thoughts. Merry Christmas from your friend up in Canada.
To start with you could pick up a couple office trailers from auction for pretty cheap. You can move them as needed while setting up the permanent sorting structures.
3PM Christmas day here in NZ and still did not get a bike from Santa I asked for in 1970. Oh well maybe next year. Hey great video as always bro. All the best for Santa's visit guys and hope the day goes well for all your crew. Safe travels y'all. Ken.
Merry Christmas to you all too good drone footage that way you can see what is going on just think if had it twenty years ago how much difference that would of made you could plan the places for the cells differently check on progress just saying more knowledge now than before cause you have a Ariel view of it all thanks Mr digg for posting
It really is unreal how fast that hole is filling up it is crazy. You gotta get that shredder up there for compaction. From the drone it looks like matchbox tractors moving mountains...lol very cool view.
A thought to keep in mind regarding your office location. Though there’s probably few quiet spots, the further away from shop ugga duggas and hammering etc, the happier everyone will be.
Mr diggs best thing to do is set down with pencil n paper and draw up your section of land you're putting the buildings on and draw out on paper where you want to put each building and you csnbsee his it'll work or you can move things around in paper before you build
Done this in the past before I retired. Made scale outlines of the buildings out of coloured paper & cut them out, then moved them round on the plan to see how everything fit.
He should make some blue prints for the shop and what not so he can get a good idea on what he wants it to look like. I used to be a subcontractor for 2 different companies that was family owned but sadly I'm disabled and no longer can work
Y'all have been mighty busy Dat for sure we recycle as much as we can including shingles Asphalt old concert some wood materials we also separate loads of metal of all types it crazy busy
Great video merry Christmas and happy new year 👍🏻 love how you messed up in the beginning 😂 forgot about trashy Tuesday 😂 1:42 those blue Bins in the background remind me of the one I used to crush cardboard’s and to flatten the cardboard I used a Seth Rollins move 😂 22 trucks is crazy the record for the biggest water slide and the most trash ever cool 😎 love how the drone was on the cooler
Good afternoon. Good to reuse what can be reused. Big shop, big roof structure and more offices... Sounds interesting. Edit: it's too bad the shingles can't be melted down and reused.
i would say keep the office part separate as the recycling aspect can get noisy and you don't want that near the office but the shop and recycling center as one larger build would not be bad
🤣❤👍 Merry Christmas from Las Vegas, y'all. I thought I might offer you some advice that you could use for laying out your compound, but between all the eggnog that's flowing very freely over here, the only sure thing I know to say is that you're very unsure about about what you should be sure about, and the only sure remedy is to imbibe some eggnog, and then a little more, and then a little more, and then a little more, and then a little more, and then a little more, and then a li....... {hic} 🤣❤👍
Mr.Digg you can recycle the shingles to a hot mix Asphalt plant most likely for the cost of trucking or the company that mixes hot mix will come get them
Good morning and a very Merry Christmas to everyone. I love the plans for your new sorting / recycling area. As thought, is solar a part of your plans? I think it would be a great fit with your operation and you will have plenty of roof to install it on...
Test out that new undercarriage on that camper 😂😂😂😂. Hope you enjoy your vacation and Merry Christmas. If that cell makes it to the middle of 2025 you’ll be lucky. You better get digging asap
6:30 please please please feed too the chipper so I can make it a presentation for the company I work for for Dutchmen to explain them that we need to make our RV stronger and better

yeah i was always amazed by that as well as how much wood when i though they separated that for grinding into mulch
Take the camper and make a trailer out of it, it wouldn’t take much to do it and you could have a nice trailer 😊Have A Merry Christmas Mr. Digg
Merry Christmas! Great video as always!
Fascinating….. something you just never think about.
Happy merry Christmas from Ireland to all 🎄🇮🇪

Merry Christmas to you all from France. Great to see that you are going to separate the recyclables from all the trash.

Happy Xmas to you, Coco, Aaron, Brandon, Tony, and all I miss :)
I’m been friends with a sanitation business for over 40 years. I’m the main building contractor for many years with them.
I appreciate your hard earned efforts at recycling 🎉
🙋♀️💖🇨🇱
What's that awesome music at the end for the drone footage?, that is lit bluegrass. Have a fantastic new year Ryan and all of you up there.
Well it's Christmas Day here in the UK, so Happy Christmas to you Ryan & everyone else, 'over the pond'.

Glad to see you try to take out the metal.
Love seeing stuff get shoved off the cliff lol and man yall are getting things figured out with the recycling can’t wait to watch you grow
Merry Christmas and God that hole is filling up extremely fast WOW much love and respect thanks for sharing ❤❤❤
To start with you could pick up a couple office trailers from auction for pretty cheap. You can move them as needed while setting up the permanent sorting structures.

Glad to see you are doing a recycling program
That drop is crazy. You are right that you are losing out on a lot of compaction and it’s dangerous for the machinery as a cliff edge
That magnet is super cool.
Merry Christmas from Australia Hope you all have a great one.
🎄 Merry Christmas 🎄💜

I think there is a little more than nog in that eggnog.......maybe some whiskey to make it better? 🍻
Mr.Digg you can recycle the shingles to a hot mix Asphalt plant most likely for the cost of trucking or the company that mixes hot mix will come get them
not around here
Well I first thought explosives for the camper but apparently fire and a landfill don’t mix. I’m thinking a launch off the side would be great! 😊
Merry Christmas Mr Digg!🎅🎅🎄🎄
Thats a big place impressive what it takes to run it all
I wonder if you could run the shingles through the Roto-chopper and get a good ground cover.
You should try to use the two mobile homes for office space. Recycle it ♻️😊
I know they are probably moldy but if you gut them and put them together. Office space cheaper than building it. Just a thought.
you need to make a area (maybe where the mobil home was parked and have a shingle ONLY drop off area.. less nails in the tires
Good morning and a very Merry Christmas to everyone. I love the plans for your new sorting / recycling area. As thought, is solar a part of your plans? I think it would be a great fit with your operation and you will have plenty of roof to install it on...
ouch that dozer but a great one thanks
Compactor!
Test out that new undercarriage on that camper 😂😂😂😂. Hope you enjoy your vacation and Merry Christmas. If that cell makes it to the middle of 2025 you’ll be lucky. You better get digging asap
i know its a lot but having a dedicated shredder, like a 95DK, at the landfill will extend that cell significantly.
6:30 please please please feed too the chipper so I can make it a presentation for the company I work for for Dutchmen to explain them that we need to make our RV stronger and better
Mr dig have aron weld some kind of old axles under the front of that camper where it can build speed up and launch it off that cliff.
Remember to Grease the machine every morning grease is great maintenance!.
I would pull the stove / oven incase of emergency they work great
