I realized that after I made my video, think I was too excited! I’ve seen old fashions made many times…carrots?! What was I thinking 😂. I know they rub the orange rind essence on the rim and garnish the cup with it. I can’t wait to make it! I’m very curious about the espresso too! I’ve always wanted to try my hand at bartending! 😉

The garnishes for the Old Fashioned are cherries and twists of orange peel. I think the little white cubes are meant to be sugar cubes as they are used to make the cocktail (unless you use simple syrup).
Lol I realized that after I made the video! Cheese, tomatoes and carrots…what was I thinking?! I know that they use orange peels and rub it’s essence around the rim.

I haven't finished the video yet but I bet on the margarita set the "missing" rim salt is actually because ur supposed to put a bit of the crushed ice into that little tub to be the salt before u mix the resin with it for the margarita.

When you make old fashions you muddle sugar cube, cherry and orange. So in the jar for the old fashions you have cherries, orange peel and sugar cubes. These are so cute!

Oh, these are very cool, the options seem unlimited to mixing brands to go with each other, foods and drinks, though I'm not sure on the scale of the different types, I'm just getting into watching the mini videos. OMGOODNESS the blue Hawaiian one made me lol, remembering the time my sister-in-law made me one and it was soooo good and was just fresh and sweet tasting and she just refilled my glass when it was empty so i didn't even have to get up. After 2 and 1/2 I decided I needed to get up and do something probably go to the bathroom lol) and that was when I realized I couldn't easily walk! 😂(I don't drink very often at all) I then apparently did the "drunk whisper" that is actually normal or louder than normal to my husband "I can't walk" 😂😅😂🎉

The ice cube tray for the old fashioned is not a silicone mold. It's much cooler than that. It's an actual replica of the trendy ice cube trays you will find with barware. They're silicone because that makes it much easier to get the ice out than a traditional plastic tray. And the large-cube ones like this are made specifically for whiskey, which is supposed to be served with large cubes. So you could use it as a mold, but really all it does is make ice cubes for whiskey drinks.
I love these so much! That blue hawaiian one got me. My parents use to always order one of those when we went to Red Lobster, back in the 80s and they let you keep the glass to take home. The glass was huge, not like these, but still I want them to make one for my mom.. I think that might be my favorite, but I haven't seen the whole series yet, just what you've shown here. Now that my dad has passed, it just makes it all that more special to think about. I love their biscuits too. Even though I've made them at home, it's never quite the same. The stuffed mushrooms are my absolute favorite though. SO good. I could make a meal of just those, and have.. 😅 I really hope these come out near me.

I really love these. I happened on them by mistake and I've been collecting every since. I have quite a few now and about 4 to 5 of the different sets trying to collect all of them. I don't mind multiples because of course I use them for staging my doll scenes. I am a little Concerned I guess that they put the happy hour balls in the children's department. Not quite sure I think children should be getting happy hour balls lol. I found all of mine in the children's section. I guess they need a section for big children like me lol. Truthfully don't know if I would've found it in any other section.

At least in the brewery tasting room. Because they set it aside and let it settle a couple of times before topping off the glass. I want to do a British pub in 1:6 scale really bad...

No these are not for kids. Mini Verse has a lot of adult fans/consumers (maybe even more than kids) so they decided to make a series for those adults. They are not in the toys section…they will be at an end cap in the food section. 😉

These are a new release. I got lucky and found them early. These should be released next week? All of their new upcoming releases come with a new resin formula including this one. ☺️
@@mycraftyside Do they at least say to wear gloves this time in the instructions? There is no way to make uv resin safe for repeated skin contact no matter what the manufacturer claims. Even uv cute nail products can cause allergic reactions with repeated skin contact because that's just the chemical nature of resin. I just don't get this product lol I've worked with resin and resin casting for years and all of us in the craft community are rolling because of the lack of PPE that is recommended with these

I think MGA realized that a lot of miniature artists and adults were buying them, and changed their target demographic for buyers on some of the themes.
Mini Verse realized that adults are a BIG percentage of their customer base and are staring to market things specifically for those consumers…which is very smart of them! 😉 A White Russian would be amazing! I don’t order those regularly but I do when I’m playing slots in Vegas….and Fuzzy Navels too! 😋 This seems to be a popular series already, they definitely have to come out with a series 2! ☺️

I think it's odd that the these "toys" aren't suitable for children because of the alcohol theme. Iven before these came out I didn't think Miniverse was for kids period. 🤔
Mini Verse is usually marketed for kids but this happy hour series is marketed for their adult consumers. It says 21+ on the wrapping. They planned to have them not in the kids section for obvious reasons but I have seen postings where they are with the toys. These are obviously not for kids.
I'm not impressed with this series at all. Adults taking a child's toy and making it their own. What's next? Tobacco products and casino games? I predict these to be placed in the toy section with other miniverse/mini brands products until retailers wise up and they become obsolete.
I love this series. Mini Verse knows A LOT of their consumers are adults( probably even more than kids) so they are marketing this series for those adult consumers. These are not going to be in the kids section as stated by Mini Verse.
Adults are allowed to have fun things. If you don't like them don't buy them for your kids and move on with your life. Also a casino themed one seems really cute, I hope they make it.

This is actually a great set for a dollhouse/diorama I've been wanting to make. (A liquor store named Logan's Beer Run.)

The Zuru Home balls have a purple covered ice tray with ice. You can cut the ice cubes apart. Might be good with your mini bar.

No these are not for kids. Mini Verse has a lot of adult fans/consumers (maybe even more than kids) so they decided to make a series for those adults. They are not in the toys section…they will be at an end cap in the food section. 😉

Doesn't the crushed ice double as the rim coating? That's what I did anyways, since Margaritas are slushy it just kinda clicked in my head.

How did you find this I thought they recall how are they allowed to sell this with UV resin does it say any rain on the packaging or is this just the one just recently came out after they have the band
These are a new release. I got lucky and found them early. These should be released next week? All of their new upcoming releases come with a new resin formula including this one. ☺️
@@mycraftyside Do they at least say to wear gloves this time in the instructions? There is no way to make uv resin safe for repeated skin contact no matter what the manufacturer claims. Even uv cute nail products can cause allergic reactions with repeated skin contact because that's just the chemical nature of resin.
I just don't get this product lol I've worked with resin and resin casting for years and all of us in the craft community are rolling because of the lack of PPE that is recommended with these

Any of the New mini verse series that have been coming out or will come out have a new resin formula and are NOT included in the recall, including this series. I know, it’s be confusing for a lot of people. I get a lot of comments about it. 😉

I think MGA realized that a lot of miniature artists and adults were buying them, and changed their target demographic for buyers on some of the themes.
Mini Verse realized that adults are a BIG percentage of their customer base and are staring to market things specifically for those consumers…which is very smart of them! 😉
A White Russian would be amazing! I don’t order those regularly but I do when I’m playing slots in Vegas….and Fuzzy Navels too! 😋

Not cheese it's the large ice cube, cherry and orange peel, classic garnish for Old fashioned
The cubes with the cherries and orange peels is actually sugar cubes. We get to muddle them for our drinks. Was my favorite part of making the mini verse old fashioned! 😊

I think it's odd that the these "toys" aren't suitable for children because of the alcohol theme. Iven before these came out I didn't think Miniverse was for kids period. 🤔
I also always thought these should be for kids. It does seem like they are leaning more toward their adult consumers with these new releases. 😏😊

Are these childrens toys? Marketed to children, sold out of the toy section? Alcohol! Seriously? That's crazy.
Mini Verse is usually marketed for kids but this happy hour series is marketed for their adult consumers. It says 21+ on the wrapping. They planned to have them not in the kids section for obvious reasons but I have seen postings where they are with the toys. These are obviously not for kids.
I'm not impressed with this series at all. Adults taking a child's toy and making it their own. What's next? Tobacco products and casino games? I predict these to be placed in the toy section with other miniverse/mini brands products until retailers wise up and they become obsolete.
I love this series. Mini Verse knows A LOT of their consumers are adults( probably even more than kids) so they are marketing this series for those adult consumers. These are not going to be in the kids section as stated by Mini Verse.
Adults are allowed to have fun things. If you don't like them don't buy them for your kids and move on with your life. Also a casino themed one seems really cute, I hope they make it.
