Yeah they literally have clicked and dragged the instructions in a editor. You can see it. The instructions are exactly the same as dragon ones just not on the dragon sheet of paper. I’ve never seen anyone do that with figures before. It was the hands that got me. They look to be holding something different to what they are shown to be holding, like a gun...
@@Jonhistorymodel I am tempted to mention it in the comments after the MBK box opening for the kit. People should know about the b.s. with the figures. I purchased the kit, so I will have to re-purpose the figures as well.
@@derekbaker3279 yeah they are good figures its just the PAK40 wasn't available for Typhoon which these figures are obviously set in. I like historical accuracy in the sense I don't want to put a T-34/85 in the same scene as a Panzer III Ausf. E.
@@Jonhistorymodel Yes, it's a major error in timing. But, it's not just historical accuracy, it's the fact that Das Werk tried to pass off a bunch of infantrymen holding guns as an antitank crew. I've never seen a kit where the figures are 're-purposed' like that! IMHO, it's fraudulent.
@@derekbaker3279 yeah it didn’t look right to me. The other thing is they are all leaning in the same direction. On a 75mm you’d think two leaning left two leaning right? No it won’t work as a 75mm crew because they are all leaning into their left
I’ve built a number of the dragon pak 40 and the trunnions are reversed. Parts B26 and B27 need to swap positions or B52 and B53 will not fit in the proper orientation.
The model kit industry has always pushed the limits in terms of box art. Some companies will include a caveat on the cover, but many don't. Along with the dodgy quality of some kits, it makes me wonder how little some of the model kit manufacturers care about their customers.
@@Jonhistorymodel Yes, for sure. I get the impression that Ryefield is another company that really thinks about its customers, and Takom is pretty good (although their Blitz kits can have relatively minor accuracy issues).
I had to buy some resin figures Not worth the price. My first Das Werk Kit and my last. Dragon sold this with proper figures for 30$! These guys want 50$! The AFV one comes with metal barrel and metal gaurds but not this one.

I'm REALLY annoyed that they show 2 soldiers sitting on the guns brace legs but they aren't in that pose in the actual kit.
Yeah the figures situation is a bit funny. They literally took a random figure kit by dragon and shoved 75mm rounds in their hands! Haha
