Escapism by Raye is more than just a song to me. It's an anthem, a sanctuary, a reminder that it's okay to take a break from reality sometimes. Whenever I listen to it, I'm transported to a different world where all my worries and fears cease to exist. The first time I heard Escapism, I was going through a tough phase in my life. I was overwhelmed with work, struggling to maintain relationships, and dealing with my own inner demons. But when I heard the lyrics, "Let me go, let me fade, let me slip through the cracks, and escape," something inside me shifted. It was like Raye was speaking directly to my soul, giving me permission to let go of everything that was weighing me down. From that moment on, Escapism became my go-to song whenever I needed a break. Whether I was stuck in traffic, having a bad day at work, or feeling lonely, I would put on my headphones and let Raye's voice wash over me. And every time, I would emerge feeling refreshed, renewed, and ready to face the world again. But Escapism is more than just a means of temporary relief for me. It's a reminder that it's okay to prioritize my mental and emotional well-being. In a world where we're constantly bombarded with stress, anxiety, and pressure, it's easy to forget that we're human beings, not machines. We need time to recharge, to rest, to escape. So if you ever see me lost in my headphones, swaying to the beat of Escapism, know that I'm not just listening to a song. I'm taking a moment to breathe, to heal, to love myself. And I'm grateful to Raye for giving me that gift.

I got the perfect music video idea. The singer starts off sitting in a seat wearing a black dress in the theater auditorium with the audience, the three backup dancers are already on stage waiting wearing red dresses. She walks up towards the stage once the first few seconds of melody starts and as soon as she walks up the stairs onto the stage she begins singing. In the background there is a screen showing texts with her man and them breaking up, scenes from different moments with him, scenes from her at a bar, scenes with her talking to her therapist. When the beat drops the singer starts dancing with the dancers and the crowd goes crazy. There is a man on stage in all black that represents the boyfriend who ended things. The singer is singing at him and he is just standing there. Then the singer and boyfriend start dancing as well. The boyfriend disappears electronically (like a glitch) and the crowd goes wild. Then four male dancers come out from behind the stage to start dancing with the dancers and the singer. When the beat slows, the male dancers pick up the singer and backup dancers in the air and you see halos above their heads starting to glitch and then right before the beat drops, then you see the devil horns above their heads and they all have an outfit change (hip hop sweats and bandeaus) they all start going hard with hip hop moves. The crowd starts screaming but then we get a spotlight up to the right of the stage where we see the actual singer and she is still in her black dress and is appearing to glitch (crowd goes even more wild after the trick of thinking the singer had an outfit change but she is really at the top of the stage glitching). By the end of the song the singer glitches away! This is my creative take on escapism.
I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 1:12. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 6:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the bacon go whirly swirly in a circle countless times. it absolutely moved my soul , and I don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. i have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. I will move on , gotta move on , as the song says. the bacon is so inspirational , it shares it vast wisdom with all of us , and we are all so lucky that it would bestow it's great words with us. we are all children on bacon. hail bacon. hail bacon. The spinning bacon, rotating in one direction with this music... This made me tear up. How could such a bacon do such a thing? I'm struck by awe by this masterpiece. Especially when the bacon spins, showing its lightly salt covered tan skin. I can hear the crunch just from here, and so as the beautiful sound of the bacon scraping the dark, smooth velvet floor. The flavor, music and everything can be heard, tasted, seen and felt from a screen. You can really hear the breaths between the music artist, empathizing her love for this rotating bacon. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any piece of bacon I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing. This is one of the greatest work from a piece of bacon I have ever seen especially on 57:42.I am currently crying so hard right now. i don’t wanna feel how my heart is rippin back
Fact I don’t wanna feel so I stick to sippin
LYRICS:
Sleazin' and teasin', I'm sittin' on him
All of my diamonds are drippin' on him
I met him at the bar, it was 12 or somethin'
I ordered two more wines, 'cause tonight, I want him
A little context if you care to listen

Drunk calls, drunk texts, drunk tears, drunk sex

Now it's back to the intro, back to the bar
To the Bentley, to the hotel, to my old ways
'Cause I don't wanna feel how I did last night
I don't wanna feel how I did last night
Doctor, doctor, anything, please
Doctor, doctor, have mercy on me, take this pain away
You're asking me my symptoms, doctor, I don't wanna feel
Toke this joint how I'm blowin' this steam
Back to my ways like 2019
Not 24 hours since my ex did dead it
I got a new man on me, it's about to get sweaty
Last night really was the cherry on the cake
Been some dark days lately and I'm finding it crippling
Excuse my state, I'm as high as your hopes
That you'll make it to my bed, get me hot and sizzling
If I take a step back to see the glass half full
At least it's the Prada two-piece that I'm trippin' in
And I'm already actin' like a dick, know what I mean?
So you might as well stick it in
Just a heart broke bitch, high heels, six inch
In the back of the nightclub, sippin' champagne
I don't trust any of these bitches I'm with
In the back of the taxi, sniffin' cocaine
Drunk calls, drunk texts, drunk tears, drunk sex

'Cause I don't wanna feel how I did last night

I don't wanna feel how I did last night, oh

Doctor, doctor, have mercy on me
You're asking me my symptoms, doctor, I don't wanna feel
I don't wanna feel how I did last night
I don't wanna feel how I did last night
I don't wanna feel how I did last night
Mm, lipstick smudged like modern art
I don't know where the fuck I am or who's drivin' the fuckin' car
Speedin' down the highway, sippin'
Mixin' pills with the liquor 'cah fuck these feelings
I left everyone I love on read (uh-huh)

I love this song is everything
The graphics, the animation, the music, so much thought was put into it. This has remined me that you can do anything you put your mind to. Not even mentioning the memories, this makes me feel like an infant again, just laying my eyes on this beautiful masterpiece gives me all the good feelings in life. I also understand what happiness is again from this. Not even to mention the most incredible part that is 2:10. Cat dancing has changed my life for the better. lyrics cause i got you 🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫
Sleazin' and teasin', I'm sittin' on him
All of my diamonds are drippin' on him
I met him at the bar, it was 12 or somethin'
I ordered two more wines, 'cause tonight, I want him
A little context if you care to listen
I find myself in a shit position
The man that I love sat me down last night
And he told me that it's over, dumb decision
And I don't wanna feel how my heart is rippin'
In fact, I don't wanna feel, so I stick to sippin'
And I'm out on the town with a simple mission
In my little black dress, and this shit is sittin'
Just a heart broke bitch, high heels, six inch
In the back of the nightclub, sippin' champagne
I don't trust any of these bitches I'm with
In the back of the taxi, sniffin' cocaine
Drunk calls, drunk texts, drunk tears, drunk sex
I was lookin' for a man who was on the same page
I was lookin' for a man who was on the same page

I don't wanna feel how I did last night

Doctor, doctor, have mercy on me, take this pain away
You're asking me my symptoms, doctor, I don't wanna feel, mm (what?)
'Cause I don't wanna feel like I felt last night
I don't wanna feel like I felt last night
Be at peace with the things you can't change (last night)
I'll be naked when I leave and I was naked when I came, yeah
Out of reach, out of touch, too numb, I don't feel no way
Toast up, so what? Street small, but it go both ways
So you'll run, yeah, but you'll never escape
Sunset in the maze (you're asking me my symptoms, doctor, I don't wanna feel)
I don't wanna feel how I did last night
I don't wanna feel how I did last night, oh
Doctor, doctor, anything, please
Doctor, doctor, have mercy on me
You're asking me my symptoms, doctor, I don't wanna feel
I don't wanna feel how I did last night
I don't wanna feel how I did last night
I don't wanna feel how I did last night
Mm, lipstick smudged like modern art
I don't know where the fuck I am or who's drivin' the fuckin' car
Speedin' down the highway, sippin'
Mixin' pills with the liquor 'cah fuck these feelings
I left everyone I love on read (uh-huh)
Spilling secrets to the stranger in my bed (uh-huh)
I remember nothing, so there's nothing to regret (uh-huh)
Other than this 4-4 kick drum poundin' in my head
