Possibly better Rory but at this point, I don't trust the writers that they could give us that Rory. And even if - it would mean a huge character turn that would be extremely unrealistic. I totally get where you're coming from. My issue is that I was too disappointed by the writers in the revival and don't wish to see that happen again.
So, not a girl - but if I had to guess, maybe the most important thing Luke says during that entire sequence of answering machine messages, is "don't change your mind until I get back". Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like that *should* be the most important thing he said. The honest, straightforward statement that he takes this whole "thing" seriously, and he's not skipping town cuz it's unimportant. But I could be wrong. But I shouldn't be. If the world worked the way I think it should, I'd be right...about this, at least.
