I love that song. The family in the kitchen playing tunes is such a beautiful vignette of Appalachian life.
So glad you enjoyed it 😀
This is one of the best videos of all time! Is there anything cozier than seeing that woodsmoke rolling out of the chimney, knowing there are folks inside cooking, eating, singing, and sharing together? Thank you so much for this. (Wish I could get my hands on one of those gorgeous hand pies! 😁) I absolutely loved the song you gave us - evocative harmonies...
The music gave me goosebumps. Absolutely beautiful❤
Your videos always feel like home!
Thank you so much!
your videos are educational and comforting. Thank you for putting all this work into them.
So glad you enjoy them 😀
I second the comforting part! Most of my family from the south are gone now. These videos help me to not miss them so much.
Kerry gold makes the best butter! Lol
Yes Amen! ❤
I love the song Katie sang. I remember hearing it on Andy Griffith with the Darling family, who all played instruments and the daughter sang it.
Good food, good music, nature & working the land....awesome representation of southern Appalachian life!!
How true
WOW you girls look just like you did back then in the photos...
😀
So relaxing and peaceful. Beautiful music, family, friend, food. Beautiful scenery, I could go on and on. All of you bring such enjoyment. Thank you!
It’s so fun seeing photos of you and Matt when you were younger 😀❤️Thanks for sharing 🌸🌷🌺🌼
Everything is just beautiful ....the singing, the pies, the rain ....thank you for sharing 💗
Glad you enjoyed it 😀
Your absolutely gorgeous in those pictures!! Matt wasn’t to bad either 😊
You are so kind-thank you 😀
What a wonderful song of Appalachia you four offered. Honor God, honor nature. God bless.
Can't wait to see the new garden beds after he cleared the hill and dug them out.
Love watching your family living everyday in the mountains and everyone is so down to earth each having their own talents.
That is some mighty fine dining, great videos, Thanks
Thanks for watching 😀
History repeats itself with the music I just love that 🎻
Its videos like this that make me miss home most. The cooking, the gardening, the nature shots, the yard work, so much going on. My family wasn't musically inclined but even the music, there's a communal aspect to it all that makes me miss my corner of Appalachia. I HAVE to find a way to garden at my next apartment.
My very Favorite video of yours ever I may have to watch again great variety and the girls have such a talent I got goose bumps to listening to the music thank you so much 💜
Glad you enjoyed it 😀
Well, look at THAT trick!!! Using a smaller pan to press the ham. Genius!!! Hope you all have a great day!
A beautiful portrait of a loving family-so sweet & peaceful-it gives me hope for all of us❤Thank you😇
Granny & Papa use to have prayer meeting like that with singing & praising. And then homemade chicken salad, homemade pound cake with sweet gerkins & chips.
I thoroughly enjoyed this one Miss Tipper from start to finish. So much good stuff packed into one video. From the food, to the old photos, the music, the creek, the sound of the rain falling, the clearing of the bank behind y’all’s house just all of it was great!
I do think it’s awesome that Thomas who you have known since he was a kid is now helping y’all’s dream come true with the work he’s doing for y’all and I’m sure he would love that old picture of him.
We can also hear the excitement about this project in your voice. Hope to see y’all soon. God Bless Y’all 😇🙏🏻😇🙏🏻❤️🙌🏻
Thank you Pastor Lon!
So happy for y'all that the banks got done. I can see where some of the trees that you talked about needing to be felled for the sunlight to hit the gardens. It's my desire to help with that when my "ship comes in". Will get in touch then. Love to all 💕
Thank you 😀
Thank you for a beautiful evening. I am so excited for you to have the new garden space.
What struck me so very hard was how much your girls look like the younger you in the photos. Thank you for sharing.
Love seeing and hearing the sound of the creek.
I really enjoy your videos, I remember my mom and Dad would always mix butter with honey or jelly and put it on home made biscuits. Your videos bring back so many fond memories for me. Thanks Tipper.
Tipper you always make me so hungry! I was raised on that kind of food & still eat it.❤️
I love the song.
First time I ever heard it was years ago when the character, Charlene Darling, sang it on the Andy Griffith show.
In fact that episode was on today!!
Your family rendition is just as good as that!!
Could listen to it often!!
Thanks for sharing!!
I just mentioned that too! First time I heard it was with the Darling family.
You just changed my life with that skillet press trick Mrs Tipper. I already stir my honey & butter up though…🙂
😀 It works great! Thanks for watching 😀
What a wonderful video! The food, the family, the garden planning and excavation, the rain! But most of all one of the prettiest renditions of one of my favorite songs! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful lives! ❤️
God has given y'all a beautiful way of life; there's none better in this world. All I can say is that y'all are truly blessed.
He has richly blessed us even though we don't deserve it 😀 Thank you Linda!
I also live on the side of a mountain- Very few level places- Thank you for your family videos- Made me hungry watching the wonderful cooking- May our Savior continue to bless and keep your family always💛
Oh my favorite of faves!!😁👏💖 I love the My Life videos best. Such BeaUty!!🤩 Love the snow and creeks. Love your cooking and y'all playing and singing.🎶 The pics were great and your photo album reminded me of the most wonderful old days. Gosh, I really miss my grandmas and our whole family gathering together.💖💖 Thanks, Ms Tipper. God bless you all.😊🌷
Yay! Thank you!
I absolutely love "There is a time"... First time I heard it Darlene sang it on The Andy Griffith show... Great times then and now....enjoy !!!
Tipper, Corie is the spitting image of you when you were her age! Enjoyed seeing the pics. The food looks delicious.
As much as I love all of your videos, I think these unscripted "fly on the wall" ones where we just watch you going about your business might be my favorites. It makes me feel like I'm there in the room with you and great feeling of peace and contentment comes over me. Only problem is, now I'm craving some biscuits and gravy.
So glad you enjoy them! I love making them 😀
A tremendous amount of talent in that room!!
that really was a beautiful song...thank you for sharing...
So glad you enjoyed it 😀
always enjoy what you share, thank you for adding a bit of cozy
Thank you for showing us so much of what you ate we’ve been spoilt x
Love to see and hear you all play and sing !
Wonderful video. So much you have given of yourself, your time, and your family. Thank you for this blessing and bless you!
You are so welcome 😀
Tipper the picture with you and Matt with the black flowered dress with white collar. I had the same one. Lol. I live in middle Tennessee and am 59. I love your videos. Reminds me of when my mom used to can and put up garden goodies. Thank you for the memories.
Love that you had the dress too 😀
What a perfectly lovely video, Miss Tipper. Thank you. My folks had a similar hillside terraced like yours and tried to plant ivy into it, but it still had occasional slides after heavy rainfall. Where the ivy took and once it caught on, they were forever fighting it back, so I suggest finding and planting a less invasive native with deep roots to hold that bank at bay. Maybe start with some wildflower seed? Or some comfrey? They have deep roots and you'd have the bonus of being able to pick them for a poultice if needed. I don't know how invasive they are, though, or if they will grow there. But what I really wanted to say is that this is a beautiful video. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
I really enjoyed the content, in viewing the supper meal I was immediately transported back to my youth in 1940s/50s.
True fact about me, most days I run one of those little diggers for my job. Every once in a while I'll be in a bigger one or a bobcat or a dozer or a dump truck. It's I've done since 86
Love that 😀
That music is so relaxing ❤❤❤❤
Here!
😀
Enjoyed watching after listening to your reading, which i also loved! Don't always comment, but always enjoy. thanks
Thank you Allison! So glad you enjoy the videos 😀
Enjoyed spending time with you. Thanks.
Wow, I was awed by the music! Really beautiful, reminded me of the Isaacs.
Thank you for sharing your great pictures of your family in earlier days, Love those glimpses into your earlier days
Nice video! Love the old pics of you guys. Can sure see where the girls got their looks. ❤️🇨🇦
Enjoyed this! I loved everything! The food , the music, nature, the photos, everything was awesome! Your " goat bluff " is looking good tipper ! I know you are going to enjoy your terrace beds with the crops they will produce. I see you got another "skiff" of sleet and snow . I always look at the snowfall analysis for western North carolina after it snows, and I always look towards your area . You are not far from pretty good snowfalls . The area over toward Macon and clay county line , standing Indian area always has good accumulation and also the mountains on the west side and east side of andrews. I'm sure you already knew this, being from the area ..haha...anyhow ,thanks, appreciate y'all always..God bless...🙏❤
Mighty peaceful
Awesome video!!❤ I enjoyed everything about it! I’m excited that you’ve gotten the bank cleared and that he was able to fix you more garden space…all of your food looked so delicious 😋….🤗❤️
I’m so excited for you! Can’t wait to see what y’all do with the extra space. I sure don’t know how y’all stay so fit eating all that food😂.
Thank you Robbie Lynn 😀 I just loved Bradley and April's video 😀
Your trick with the two skillets to help the ham lie flat reminded me of my mom.....she did that with bacon.
I love all your videos Tipper! You really have masters how to capture life in Appalachia! Thank you for all the time you spend sharing your life with all of us!
You are very welcome 😀
Awesome post! All of it I feel pleasant and calm. So warm.
I enjoyed that Song. I remembered it from THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW. I also enjoyed looking at your Picture Album.
Nice Video. 😊
This video will be one of my favorites! A little bit of everything. Love the 4 of you singing in the kitchen and thank you for sharing your photos! I'm sure I won't be alone hoping you share more old pictures.
I ordered some of Corie's soap and can't wait for it to arrive.
Yay! Thank you!
That was a great episode, I really enjoyed it.
Thank you.
Omg MY FAVORITE SONG EVER !!!!!!
Tipper I could have just ate but your cooking makes me hungry! So excited for you with the new planting terraces. The cabbages are coming along. I need to get mine started.
I really enjoyed watching this video. I love listening to yalls music. And I love looking at pictures. I dont care who's picture's. lol.. Thank you for sharing.
Both of your girl's have beautiful voices . So Blessed
Thanks so much 😀
Beautiful music! You are all so talented in so many ways :m)
I remember my granny frying ham an making red eyed gravy she called it .for supper she would cut mustard greens an wild onions up an pour that gravy over it talking about poor man's supper .boy was it good
Love the low key quiet production. Lovely video. I bought a cabbage today and am going to try an oven roasted cabbage with seasoning and a bit of cheese. I have pan fried squash and cabbage, but Wife does not care for it. We had a light sleet/snow today, terrible rainstorm over night, still more flooding in the bottoms.
Glad you enjoyed it! That cabbage sounds good 😀
Great food. Great singing
Beautiful family you should be proud of your daughters
Creeping phlox would be beautiful on your bank! I luv to hear Paul playin with the girls!
Y’all did a great job on There is a Time.
Food looked good too.
Thanks so much 😀
Stuff those turnovers with cubes of meat and diced vegetables in a brown gravy, and you have Cornish pasties (pronounced like "Pasty [sic] Cline"😆😆), a traditional Cornish miner's meat pie.
My Grandaddy loved mixin his butter and syrup for his biscuits like you, guess that's where I got it from.....that ol' dump truck shore struggled to make that hill LOL!!!! Ya'll make good music together.....All that good food sure makes a feller hungry!!!!
Thank you for sharing Tipper. How did Thomas react to that adorable picture? So cute!
He loved it 😀 Thank you Robin!
You make my heart smile! Love your recipes and everything you post on your video's! Love your channel! Blessings to you all!

Sending Thomas a virtual hug 🤗 ❤ 💖
I smile deep inside every time you refer to your Tommy toes 😉 ☺ 🍅 🍅 🦶
@@transamgal9 I'm so sorry you lost them!! Bless you!
The “hand pies” can also be empanadas if you want to call them that! Very delish and they have good ones in marshall, nc at highland station coffee shop if youre ever in the area🎉
Thanks beautiful
Love hearing you all playing and the girls singing. Have you ever thought of making a CD with your music
😀 Thank you! We have several cds. You can find the links in the descriptions of all our videos 😀
When mom , and then as e😂ach of us got older, would make pie crust, we'd make extra. Roll it out, use a fork, poke holes all over it. Salt it . Bake until light brown. It was so good. One of my sisters puts cinnamon and sugar on hers.
The little stocking caps put on newborns my daughter calls "pepaw"caps. An elderly midwife many years ago,1960s, said she would always put cap,and pair booties on,and teaspoon warm water when a baby was born and none ever had colic. She had delivered like 400babies believe she said. She was an old Pentecostal!! The girls are certainly identical, and look so much like Matt. Course being around them I'm sure you see Tipper in them!! And it's something how from day to day peoples looks change, see different things they have from other family members. When I had my first baby in 1964 it cost $160 for Dr. Hospital was something like $50!!
Thank you Verna! Wow what a different in cost 😀
Quality viewing. ❤. Was the song the same one that the girls sand when younger , I’m not sure if it was your video or their’s , when you walked back into the woods and they sang in that old church building ? Sorry, I don’t remember which video it was. I’ll try to see if I can find it again.
There it is. Our Mom Made us sing this song. - posted 12 days ago. I was thinking it was the same song ?
So glad you enjoyed the video! It was a different song, but they have been singing it a long time too 😀
Be good if there was something you all could spray that bank with to help to keep that growth from coming back . Love your videos. My family has always lived like this.
Tipper! Over 212k views! Amazing! ❤
That red eye gravy looks so yummy 😋!! Absolutely love all your content!!
P.S. that song sure was pretty. My some talented folks. My guitar sits in the case. Someday soon l'll get to playing and writing again. Enjoyed it very much 💕
So glad you enjoyed the song 😀
Make you a deal, send me that little biscuit and I'll send you a truck load of oak firewood pre- split.😋
😀 That's a pretty good deal!
All I have had to eat since Monday is half a cantaloupe, I had food poisoning this week, have lost almost 20 lbs since last weekend I was enchanted watching the ham fry.
I'm so sorry you've been sick. Hope you are back to normal soon!
You guys are so talented I can't even sing in the shower I embarrass myself
“Aw, Paw, that one makes me cry.”
😀
So beautiful!
Country ham and red eye gray. Yum
Very talented family 👏👏👏👏
Good to see progress with the garden it won't be long now and spring will be here.
I know its coming so fast 😀
I was sitting her watching you make the gravy and started smelling it! I didn’t know my husband was cooking sausage in the kitchen! 😂
😀
