I can remember when this car was first completed, I loved it back then and to this day nothing has changed. The car is awesome, & the perfect sleeper!!!
Just because this car has stock look rims does not make it a sleeper. If you pulled up next to it you would definitely know it had something massive under the hood
It's funny that growing up in Michigan the 60s and 70s as a child I'd hear engines like this all the time. Usually grandpa had a bad muffler or something. I accidentally(innocently) broke the muffler off my dads ford econoline custom van and it sounded like a dragster; drove it all over town that night before I turned myself in(to dad).
I like the mostly stock appearance of it. It even looks original on the inside. They hid the aftermarket gauges in the glove box, so it would still look stock. It is a wicked fast car. I'll try to get a full video of it another day.
That's good that you're getting a few things done to it. We've been moving pretty slow with my son's Trans Am project lately too. Thanks for taking a look at this Nova.
I suspect there’s more to the rear suspension than the stock single leaf springs? Had one this color back in the 70’s with a six banger. Brought back lots of fond memories. Ten foot tall and bullet proof. No rust but the radiator in the hot Arizona sun. NICE!
Wooo!!! Doggie!!! Did someone say; Super Sleeper??? I thought a "Sleeper" was a stock looking car with a "Quiet" Monster under the Hood? That Beast, with that Rumble is anything but a Sleeper!!! What I mean it's AWESOME!!! Thanks for posting that Monster...
I had one of these same color in 1976 with a 194 c.i. every time I drove it in rain it would quit cause is distributor is on bottom end I had practically had stock in wire dryer and igntion sealant ! Cool car though ,I never dreamed it could be as cool as this one 👍
Christmas shopping in this baby would be fun sounds awsome and powerfull 😎 cool car color stunning wow what a car thanks jeff and Jordan for this 😊 😊 😊 😊
That whine is from the gear drive.....they have replaced the timing chain with a noisy gear drive to intentionally get that sound. I happen to like the sound of it, but it may not be for everyone. Thanks for taking a look!
This one almost looks like a car a Grandma could drive. I think as soon as you start it people know what's going on though. Thanks for taking a look George.
That's my favorite part about this car. It looks so original, both inside and out. You'll see when I take a look at the interior later. They hid the gauges in the glovebox...there isn't even a tach in sight. Nobody would suspect it's so crazy fast, right up until you start it.
Looks like my nova but not 4 door. I saw your reply to me earlier but never had the chance to reply back. We got some new chrome around the headlights and we have gotten some new tie rods but nothing else. If you don't remember you asked what we did to our nova :)
Those are custom 17" wheels, but you're right...they definitely could be a little wider. That thing is going to need all the rubber you can stuff under it.
just one word to describe this one ( SUPER SLEEPER ) ,,, by the way i like your video lot , thanks for the share ,,, you dont miss a thing when it comes to show a car , keep the good work
Awesome Nova! I'm currently redoing a 67 nova post car. Could you please give me the specs of the rear 17" rims on this car? 17 by ?..tire size?..Backspacing...? It would really help me out alot with my build. Thanks!
That's "Fabulous"! The brief description didn't say "Sedan". The Coupe's look good, but I hate the "cheap doors". That's "Wonderful"! I never get to see the 66-67 sedans. I like em' a lot More. If you want a "Nice Car", why not get one with quality doors to climb in and out of? Thanks for sharing it! "Really Nice".
im trying to restore a 1970 chevelle and i have a 454 engine in it. not original. and woundering which trans is better for it. my options ( i live in a small town in mexico so i dont have many options) is a muncie 20M and a 200r4. which would be better?
I can remember when this car was first completed, I loved it back then and to this day nothing has changed. The car is awesome, & the perfect sleeper!!!
Nothing beats a super clean, original look. That on any vehicle. Great video!!!
I'd love to own a sleeper like that, those steel wheels and hub caps really make it!!☺
I love the wheels to mmmm
Just because this car has stock look rims does not make it a sleeper. If you pulled up next to it you would definitely know it had something massive under the hood
Sleeper? Really?
I love this year of the nova... It's definitely one of my favorite cars
It really is a good looking car. Thanks for taking a look!

Broken mufflers sound nothing like this.
@@carpballet Duly noted. A lot of bad mufflers in the day though. (The salt belt)
Thanks for checking it out. They definitely are good looking cars.
The ultimate sleeper
It's extremely fast too. Thanks for checking it out!
That thing cleans the driveway off when it rolls.
Thanks for watching Scottie. It really does sound sweet.
It really is an awesome sound. Thanks for checking it out!
No, that's not my place. They just let me film their cars. Thanks for watching!
That's definitely true. Thanks for watching!
It sure sounds mean. Thanks for checking it out John.
Music to the ears. There's nothing like American muscle.
That's the reason I like this one so much, they really have tried to retain the stock appearance as much as possible.
It does sound pretty wicked. Thanks for taking a look!
It is one wicked machine, that's for sure. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching my friend. Hope you and your family have a great holiday season.
I agree, those wheels are perfect for this car. It definitely is mean...thanks for taking a look!
That color … that idle!!
Thanks for watching Jos!
My grandma had a car like this, but it certainly didn’t sound like this.
I'm glad you like it. Thanks for watching!
We'll get it out an run it another day. It really is a beast. Thanks for watching!
Don't get much more badass than that
That's what I said when I heard it fire up. It sound even meaner in person though. Thanks for watching!
This one sure is a monster. I can't wait to run it down the road a bit.
That car is just perfect.
that is the epidemy of a sleeper

Love the stance and rear wheels!
It's definitely quick...I'm sure it's a handful to drive though. Thanks for checking it out Alberto!
Yes, it does.
I had one of these same color in 1976 with a 194 c.i. every time I drove it in rain it would quit cause is distributor is on bottom end I had practically had stock in wire dryer and igntion sealant ! Cool car though ,I never dreamed it could be as cool as this one 👍
What a sleeper
Just had a heartattck man I’d love to find a sedan like that for a drag car full chassis
Christmas shopping in this baby would be fun sounds awsome and powerfull 😎 cool car color stunning wow what a car thanks jeff and Jordan for this 😊 😊 😊 😊
That one really did sound nice. Thanks for having a look my friend!
That whine is from the gear drive.....they have replaced the timing chain with a noisy gear drive to intentionally get that sound. I happen to like the sound of it, but it may not be for everyone. Thanks for taking a look!
I need that sound as an alarm clock
Another classic and this one sounds just plain nasty ! Great job and thanks for bring us these classics sir.
The way the driver never moves in these videos almost makes it look like a large model kid or an RC car.
Now that’s a bad ass car
This one almost looks like a car a Grandma could drive. I think as soon as you start it people know what's going on though. Thanks for taking a look George.
Sounds wicked, I love the clean bottle cap and steelies. I got that setup on my pick up truck, .
For the love of God LIGHT 'EM UP!!!!!
Thanks for watching!
I'd like to see some 1/4 mile runs of that thang. Sounds like a Beast!
That's my favorite part about this car. It looks so original, both inside and out. You'll see when I take a look at the interior later. They hid the gauges in the glovebox...there isn't even a tach in sight. Nobody would suspect it's so crazy fast, right up until you start it.
Love the car. I bet it would sound better without the gear drive. They're a little too noisy for me. Love the cam and the looks, though.
My exact thoughts. Was going to make that comment and saw yours.
This car must be Christines daugther bad to the bones holy cow what a stunning car 🤟 😊 😊 thanks jeff and Jordan for this video
SLEEPER OF THE YEAR....must be a hand full with those skinnys on the rear,,but fun none the less,,ooohhh yeaaa..
This car is perfect. It just looks so right and sounds amazing
Looks like my nova but not 4 door. I saw your reply to me earlier but never had the chance to reply back. We got some new chrome around the headlights and we have gotten some new tie rods but nothing else. If you don't remember you asked what we did to our nova :)
I'm assuming that's a flat tappet cam in the big block ? Engine is a bit too noisy for me personally, but the exhaust note is gorgeous.
It is...sounds like it's going to eat your children or something. It's a wicked machine. Thanks for watching!
That sure is a wicked sound Jeff !
Nice sleeper
Thanks for checking it out!
It really does sound nasty mean. Thanks for checking it out!
Those are custom 17" wheels, but you're right...they definitely could be a little wider. That thing is going to need all the rubber you can stuff under it.

just one word to describe this one ( SUPER SLEEPER ) ,,, by the way i like your video lot , thanks for the share ,,, you dont miss a thing when it comes to show a car , keep the good work
Yeah, it's a sleeper right up until you start it.
My perfect car. But without the gear drive.
Look up --Nova with blower---Top notch nova
Just the Chevy way to go to the grocery store
The sound is because it has a gear drive instead of a timing chain.
The little old lady from Pasadena's car. Lol😃
1982 called: they want the gear drive back.
I had a '65 pillar 2 dr II, sure which I still had it...
C'mon rev that beauty!

Did You Ever Make A Full Walk Around ???
Thanks, come across a 1955 Chevy with this kinda engine combo, let me know. Thanks, Ray
It sounds like it inhaling gasoline and spitting out power xD
Sleeper !! bet it's fast if you can handle that kind of power in such a light car... :)
Chevrolet should bring the Nova back, to replace the Volt hehe
Very nice!!
Awesome Nova! I'm currently redoing a 67 nova post car. Could you please give me the specs of the rear 17" rims on this car? 17 by ?..tire size?..Backspacing...? It would really help me out alot with my build. Thanks!

Gear driven sleeper
