Buen video hermano! Siempre me e preguntado, cuando se perdió esa manera de marchar( un verdadero paso de guerra) Ahora da lastima el ver cómo marchan 😔
not quite actually, after the war against Colombia in 1933, Peru had ditched trench warfare and french doctrine and embraced rapid movement, whilst maintaining overwhelming firepower against the inferiorly led, equipped and trained Ecuadorians
@@erickalexanderurbanoalarco8240 By July of 41' it certainly had that effect, though it seems to me that while the germans favored air support over artillery to pin the enemy down, the Peruvian military used artillery much moreso than air support for that role

@@Peruanista941 well, now I feel stupid... of course it's in Spanish, I even took 3 years of it but forgot nearly all of it. thank you so much, I read that (at least Brazil) wasn't as urbanized as other places during one of the wars, so recording these wasn't their top priority, but I think it's so cool, I just wanted to make an edit of some of the footage is all, like one of those "WW2 Edits" if you type that in, thank you!

you can find the footage on youtube, it's called *"Alerte en la frontera"* and yes, it's real, they were recorded on the same battlefield.
