We have a member of our system who is a Vulcan and comes forward when there’s an emergency and a logical approach is needed. We all have our reasons for being and Leto is a joy to watch.

That's the type of fusion my husband did with his system a few years ago. He was the long term host and didn't know he had DID. Massive derealization episode, all amnesia walls fell and then he shattered and was picked up by the others.

Your brain is a superpower all on its own! I am betting that there at unlimited possibilities when it comes to alters, fusion and headspace configuration. As an outsider I’ve been watching the DID channels that have been going through fusion and my armchair observation is that it seems like the systems that have fused been improving in maturity, growth and quality of life. It seems to make sense.

i think the awareness is helping to lessen fear of it. if it's going to happen in a system, it's going to happen, but i do think that the system's comfort level with the concept helps. so if anything, probably all the educational channels being so open about their experiences is helping systems who were previously quite scared of fusion integration become more acclimated to the idea of it happening in their own systems.
Jessica choose to fuse very soon after a commenter asked why she hasn’t chosen to do so already, which likely wouldn’t have happened if not for dissociadid and piñata’s videos so there’s definitely a correlation. I think seeing it happen in other systems puts it at the front of the mind of alters who may have been afraid to do it otherwise. -Wyn

I realised today that I was different. One of your explanations of how fusion felt, sumed it up perfectly, thank you so much for sharing your different experiences. Spent all day trying to find the answer.
The woods part is interesting. We have like a wood/forest surrounding our innerworld and only a few protectors can go there. Few years ago we had 2 big traumas and it caused the innerworld to like explode I guess 🤷🏻♀️ anyway the protectors started searching for everyone since we all kinda vanished and in the woods they found like 6 alters that hadn’t been around for many years and one still chooses to live there away from the rest of us today. no one else goes there since the woods are marked as dangerous . The fusion thing is interesting too. We have alters that are connected but not fully fused and it’s like on a scale depending on what’s happening depends on who of them fronts . It’s like they share a mind even though they are still separate people in the innerworld hard to explain

Idk why we became aware a several months ago, splitting doesn’t make sense bc a lot where there before. I think he may have given himself to us so we could be aware or more defined ig? We have always prayed to be remade as we were intended to be, whole and complete, no more struggles and bad choices we can’t control. “Let me dissolve me in acid, I want to cosmic mud, and begin to grow again, blossom in a new way” and “I pray for God to crush me, break me up into pieces and start over again” have been our favorite quotes the past year and the Litany against fear from Dune, which I highly recommend recommend for a mantra against fear and template for other things. Omg, looking back we’ve always had quotes and shit about our conflicting and dynamic thoughts, feelings, likes, ideas, etc. Like that radically both Dr whatever split dude, saint and sinner and resurrection, light and dark, Hecate, etc etc. Yearning to be whole but also wholes. I feel so dumb rn, like wtf, we’ve had signs on signs on signs about the OSDD.
Integration, system and fusion it really makes me see this as a multiple operating system computer almost. As if one was running Windows, mac and Linux but finding universal file types to send emails and install programs on all servers and os. I have no idea why but that's how this makes sense to me and it is absolutely beautiful.

I find it interesting that they used to have a night-only innerworld, because we have the same thing? It's just sort of divided. There's the night area which is the innerworld, and then around it there's a border and on the other side is like an inverted world where it's always daytime that we can't access. We're not currently sure if it's a 'this is where hidden stuff is kept' kinda thing or just a world-end kinda thing though.

We have like a reverse thing going on where like our forest is a place where most of us can go (though only Qi the ageless shapeshifting forest spirit actually LIVES there - Qi can also shapeshift anyone who enters the forest while they're in the forest) but there's a library that's just off-limits to most of us right now. And so far that's the entirety of our inner world that I know of. (I actually can't go into the forest though, but I have limited access to areas of the library that contain our dream archives and stories - I've been calling it the Fiction Section. Our Archivist said she closed the library to keep us from being overwhelmed while we figured out communication across mental states that we weren't sure are even separate headmates.)

I thought we were just wrong about noticing these things and didn't realise this was like *a valid thing* that could genuinely happen until now :O 💜💙💚 One of our old hosts, Angel used to be very disturbed and carry a lot of trauma etc. then they went dormant for almost a decade and recently another alter started sort of bringing them back up to the surface and the end product was Angel having a couple of entirely new alters splitting off of them, a lot of the things they themselves couldn't cope with being passed onto so sooo many alters that were already a part of the system but could actually cope with these things fairly easily and them still existing but becoming pretty much Angel 2.0 who chose their new name and looks nothing like they used to before in the inner world plus is actually doing pretty okayish nowadays and asks for help if needed 👌💜💙💚💛❤
I am going to miss Jessica a little bit. She was a hoot. Also, the changes to the inner world sound crazy. I cannot wait to hear more about it once you all do.

I almost wonder if because of Jessicas role in the system, if her fusion (trying to use right terms) occurred the way it did as she was the therapist and her job is to make you all more well adjusted and able to cope with your world better... and since she herself can't fuse to herself if that little spark of happiness landed somewhere and birthed abigail.
I've known an alter (not from our system) who kinda held trauma from each of the others and when they integrated everyone else got pieces of themselves back (if that makes sense, that's how it was described to me)

Interesting when you said night is your comfort time. My schedule has been completely off for last two months. Can’t stop watching tv or on my computer to 5:30 am. I have done some all nighters where I don’t sleep the next day. It feels awful. Yet I don’t seem to have control. Also food regime is completely off.
Curious if anyone has actually asked Abigail what is in the woods? Who does she know there? Maybe if you had someone hold her hand she could take one of you thru? To me maybe, since she has no trauma, the woods might be fully loaded with happy personalities and lost memories. I sure hope you’ve found out by now, I’m still catching up on everything! You mentioned that Ed and Oz told you (Kim Kim) that when they redesigned the inner world, the got rid of the dark places. It's maybe possible that Abigail was able to resurface because of that change?
Jessica's "melting" , as you defined it , seems like the perfect way to integrate. If all of you can do the same to integrate with the others, you might become a single person as you should have been if you weren't subjected to trauma. None of the integrated would "die" or "cease to exist" , they will simply become one. It looks like the perfect "healing" path from DID. Don't misunderstand me: I don't want you to suffer in ANY WAY. But, if someone needs to overcome and heal from trauma and deserves to be happy, that is you.

Geez, that sounds like a bit of an existential crisis to have so many alters considering their roles and impact on the system. It's a great position to be in when everyone is communicating and able to consider their roles, not having to integrate because they aren't coping or anything like that. Jessica was the alter who was a therapist, wasn't she? I guess that's why she wanted to make everyone feel a little bit happier. That any information she learned about how to cope and manage as a system would have been shared with anybody not wearing an anti-integration bubble ;) Maybe Abigale has resurfaced because she feels safe, and like it's time to relax and have those happy moments the system didn't get to have when it was younger. Cue epic montage where Abigale and another "allowed" alter skip into the forest singing "Into The Unknown" from Frozen 2.

I find it interesting that they used to have a night-only innerworld, because we have the same thing? It's just sort of divided. There's the night area which is the innerworld, and then around it there's a border and on the other side is like an inverted world where it's always daytime that we can't access. We're not currently sure if it's a 'this is where hidden stuff is kept' kinda thing or just a world-end kinda thing though.

So what if Abigail is the healthy you that is able and strong enough to exist in the unknown (woods)? It sounds to me like a step in the healing journey. I sure hope it is and that you all find a way to feel good and handle whatever comes next.

Hola Lito! I just wanted to let Lito know that I've really enjoyed watching his videos before he decides to integrate, if he ever does!
I've always connected with the Lito from Sens8 a lot, and I thought Lito (from your system) was amazing since the first time he appeared on the channel. I was very sad to hear about him struggling in the last video, and hope he is doing better now.

We have like a reverse thing going on where like our forest is a place where most of us can go (though only Qi the ageless shapeshifting forest spirit actually LIVES there - Qi can also shapeshift anyone who enters the forest while they're in the forest) but there's a library that's just off-limits to most of us right now. And so far that's the entirety of our inner world that I know of. (I actually can't go into the forest though, but I have limited access to areas of the library that contain our dream archives and stories - I've been calling it the Fiction Section. Our Archivist said she closed the library to keep us from being overwhelmed while we figured out communication across mental states that we weren't sure are even separate headmates.)
I loved seeing the intros and the pictures of how everyone sees themselves!! That was quite cool:)

I thought we were just wrong about noticing these things and didn't realise this was like *a valid thing* that could genuinely happen until now :O 💜💙💚 One of our old hosts, Angel used to be very disturbed and carry a lot of trauma etc. then they went dormant for almost a decade and recently another alter started sort of bringing them back up to the surface and the end product was Angel having a couple of entirely new alters splitting off of them, a lot of the things they themselves couldn't cope with being passed onto so sooo many alters that were already a part of the system but could actually cope with these things fairly easily and them still existing but becoming pretty much Angel 2.0 who chose their new name and looks nothing like they used to before in the inner world plus is actually doing pretty okayish nowadays and asks for help if needed 👌💜💙💚💛❤

I almost wonder if because of Jessicas role in the system, if her fusion (trying to use right terms) occurred the way it did as she was the therapist and her job is to make you all more well adjusted and able to cope with your world better... and since she herself can't fuse to herself if that little spark of happiness landed somewhere and birthed abigail.

I've known an alter (not from our system) who kinda held trauma from each of the others and when they integrated everyone else got pieces of themselves back (if that makes sense, that's how it was described to me)
This is off topic, but it needs to be said; your entire look for this episode reminds me of Hikaru/Karu's cheshire cat from the Alice in Wonerland episode of Ouran High School Host Club and I love it!
Interesting when you said night is your comfort time. My schedule has been completely off for last two months. Can’t stop watching tv or on my computer to 5:30 am. I have done some all nighters where I don’t sleep the next day. It feels awful. Yet I don’t seem to have control. Also food regime is completely off.

Jessica's "melting" , as you defined it , seems like the perfect way to integrate. If all of you can do the same to integrate with the others, you might become a single person as you should have been if you weren't subjected to trauma. None of the integrated would "die" or "cease to exist" , they will simply become one. It looks like the perfect "healing" path from DID.
Don't misunderstand me: I don't want you to suffer in ANY WAY. But, if someone needs to overcome and heal from trauma and deserves to be happy, that is you.

Geez, that sounds like a bit of an existential crisis to have so many alters considering their roles and impact on the system. It's a great position to be in when everyone is communicating and able to consider their roles, not having to integrate because they aren't coping or anything like that.
Jessica was the alter who was a therapist, wasn't she? I guess that's why she wanted to make everyone feel a little bit happier. That any information she learned about how to cope and manage as a system would have been shared with anybody not wearing an anti-integration bubble ;)
Maybe Abigale has resurfaced because she feels safe, and like it's time to relax and have those happy moments the system didn't get to have when it was younger. Cue epic montage where Abigale and another "allowed" alter skip into the forest singing "Into The Unknown" from Frozen 2.
So is the forest area of the inner world kind of like the mountain caves on the island?
