    That's the first handgun I bought when I turned 21. it's a very reliable gun. People say it's an ugly gun but, I think it's pretty cool looking.

    I have a PX4 Storm in .40SW. The rotating barrel helps a lot with that one. A very underrated pistol.

    • @JacksonWalter735
      @JacksonWalter735 4 года назад +3

      I agree. Most flatshooting or low recoil guns that I've shot tend to have the tilting barrel designs or a small slide (looking at you CZ). The rotating barrel, low muzzle flip, and large slides make the PX4 Storm the best of both worlds for me. It's sacrilegious to say but I like the PX4 Storm over the Beretta 92. I'm hoping Beretta makes a steel frame version of the PX4 in the future.

    There's a Beretta PX4 Storm model JXC9GEL collaboration with Ernest Langdon. It has lower profile controls, some incredible sights installed, and a lighter trigger. It's a 'G' model (decocker only). It's the Cadillac of the PX4 Storm pistols.

    • @DarkPhoenixTSi
      @DarkPhoenixTSi 6 лет назад +6

      Ernest knows Berettas better than I think Beretta does. I had a Storm compact that I did all of the LTT goodies, and I have yet to find a DA/SA pistol that was better, or easier to shoot. The man is a Jedi!

      @@guerom1367 Yes - and they are more expensive. I just did a quick search and it looks like about $795 as of today. Totally worth it though as if you bought the stock model and added all the upgrades, you'd end up spending at least that much.

    I have had the full size in 40 S&W now for about two years and have run 2,000 rounds through her without a single stoppage, using all types of ammo including lots of hand loads. I replaced the decocker levers with the stealth levers and converted to decock only. Changed the stock hammer spring with the Langdon #12 lb silicone, D/A pull is very smooth, crisp and clean. The most accurate and reliable pistol I own. Absolutely love this pistol. I got it brand new at a deal that I couldn't pass up' and was the only reason that I bought it. Lets face it, it's an odd looking pistol but fell in love with her at our first dance. This is the ugly duckling that could, and does flawlessly.

  • @28_babyshark
    @28_babyshark 6 лет назад +32

    Just a heads up. Beretta factory will tell you to put gun grease under the barrel where the locking lug meets. Because the barrel rotates on the lug.

    Compact, slick to hold, accurate, and VERY stable recoil. Everything I personally love when it comes to firearms.

    Immensely underrated gun! I carry a PX4 Compact Carry everyday AIWB with a D hammer spring and OEM flush hammer. I also have a langdon edition fullsize that I shoot in competition. The OEM support from beretta is fantastic (trigger kits, springs, mags, sights, etc.). The gun shoots incredibly soft and is incredibly reliable. I have been hounding beretta to put the APX grip texture on it though. If they made a smaller single stack version, I'd eat that up as well.

    • @82lowe36id
      @82lowe36id 5 лет назад +5

      I agree with the OEM parts. I really like that about Beretta! Really want to get my hands on a compact and spend some time with it to compare with my CZ P07. I am actually afraid I will find the PX4 is better!

    The PX4 Storm is on my bucket list to own. I had originally wanted a Beretta 92 but after holding one and then the PX4 Storm, the latter just felt much better in my hands. This damn Covid kicked in and people went nuts buying up all the firearms (and TP) that when I was able to afford it I could never find one and ended up with a H&K VP9SK. Like that's a bad thing, lol.

    For a 17 year old model, it sure looks like it holds its own. That's one fast semi-auto. I think it looks better than the 92. Looks like what a 1911 could have morphed into. Just looks like a classic gun. Nothing like a Glock brick.

    I think you're gonna like this gun a lot down the line, you should look into the carry upgrades that Ernest Langdon help proliferate for the platform. I could easily see you adding some kind of stippling or grip tape to it down the line, the stock texture is probably one of the guns biggest weakspots.

    Love the PX4 storm its my favorite gun. I only bought it because it was the only one left at the gun store. Due to the riots we are having and the failure of our mayors and governors to protect law abiding citizens everyone is buying guns. At first I was hesitant because it was the only one left. But i figured my mayor Garcetti is citing with rioters what choice do I have something is better than nothing. Boy was I surprised when I took it out to shoot. Its an awesome gun. I love it. One of my favorites. I'm waiting on a second one.

    I’ve shot the PX4 Storm again this year (last time was around my mid 20s and 34 y/o now). All I can say is that I should’ve held it better back then. Now I’m VERY ACCURATE with this. Only thing I still don’t like about this is the long DA trigger pull and the wide grip, taking me extra time to fix my grip (at least my hands are big to the point it really isn’t difficult to grasp). I love the look of this and this is why I chose to rent it in my mid 20s.

    I've owned px4 for many years now. IT was the first gun that I ever picked up that felt really good in my hands. And it shoots great, probably the best shooting gun I have ever owned. It's just a shame the rotating barrel makes almost impossible to run a suppressor.

    Looks like it has the low profile decokers and ameriglo sights. Nice pick!

    I’ve never been a fan of the looks of the storm, but I am a fan of the music you were playing on the steel drums 🤘🏻🤘🏻🥁 lol.
