  • This gear review features the Geovid Pro 10x42 rangefinding binoculars built by Leica. Eastmans' Dan Pickar breaks down all of the specs on this well-rounded tool for bow and rifle hunters. These binos boast a precise Class 1 laser, Applied Ballistics software, Perger-Porro prism system and powerful bluetooth. Dan was also impressed by the ergonomics and optical quality of the glass in these units.

I have the 10x32s, and they're fantastic. Use them in competition and hunting. Gun dope was spot on past 1000 yards.

I have these in the 10 x 42 absolutely crystal clear. Best glass in the industry for hunting out west or just viewing wildlife. Range finding system is stellar. I use them for archery weekly and all my guided hunts. Best of the best.

Do they have an option to add the binocular stud for mounting on a tripod or is it the same as the other Geovid 10x42’s that requires a mounting plate or bino hand ring/strap?

Hi this is great, I’ve literally just received some 10x42s. Is there a way of trueing your velocity on these binos?

How do they compare to other Leica binoculars? Are they like Trinovid, Ultravids, etc?

For the cost why don't they have the Range, Wind and elevation shown on the internal display like the Sig Kilo 10K ABS which is half the cost? I understand that the clarity is not as well on the Sig. But it seems you always have to use your phone app. which is an additional step and can create other issues.

😯 They make the Best Binoculars in the World! 😁👍 You'll get No Argument from me on that! 👨‍⚖ However, once again, you had better check the State Regulations before using "Lazer Range Finder Anything"! Why? Because, in My State, the Use of Electronic Devices to aid in the taking of a game animal, that would include scopes with light up reticals and trail cameras too, is "ILLEGAL"! 🚔 👮‍♂️

@@ronlowney4700 you CAN use a laser range finder in montana. You can not use an artificial light to help aim or spot animals. Ballistic calculating scopes that are self contained are illegal but a range finder is not

@@ronlowney4700 after more research i think the smart scopes are legal. it would be a question for a warden to confirm.

Until I introduce some "New Legislation" that is going to curb All this "Long Range Hunting Craze"! 😜
