just my suggestion, u need to put numbers on screen when u say the cost, and give the USD too so people can compare to.. good video btw. if u search for the worker food (a more small warung, pasar malam, etc) u can get around 15-20k (1 usd) per person..

Thank you for this. I had absolutely NO idea what 20k was... 20 thousand somethings? Now I can do the calculations. Thanks again.

Cheap AF. Been having a great time here for $1300/month. Getting a lot of work done, and meeting nice people. 60 days is perfect. 3 weeks to see everything, and 5 weeks to get work done.

Indeed it can be super cheap, mid range like yours or very expensive, all in all well done on the video it helps others plenty, been thinking about renting long term in Bali as it is one of those places I really enjoyed and I didn't consider the shared villa before, that is extremely affordable.

  • @budawang77

Seems realistic. Just got back from two weeks in Bali and found it's surprisingly easy to spend a lot as there are so many fancy restaurants, resorts and shops. With discipline, however, it's possible to have a good quality of life for a very affordable price. Personally, I'm not interested in living in the most touristy areas so that would also help.

Thanks for being so honest. I read an article written by an Australian this morning who daid he said AUS $70 a week fir a family of 4. No way, unless they are all eating fruit for every meal. Bali has gotten expensive with western cafes and prices of accommodation. Some 2 bedroom villas are now $500 Australian per week, pre covid they were more like $300 a week. Coffees cost $5, same prices as here in Australia. Your costs for an Australian are 2 to 2.5k per month. You didnt add in health insurance or gym fees or share work space fees that digital nomads usually spend.

that;s still quite cheap. When you look at the per person break-down it's at most $800 USD, that's less then im paying for rent in BKK. slight more then I'd be paying if it wasnt an monthly AirBnB :) but still. And yes I know I can find cheaper accommodations but i have a specific area i want to live in and I can't take the very small places so I pay a bit of a premium for that.
