This car is in good condition and won't last long for sale at the dealership, but at least you can see what one looks like in this condition with 128K miles 10 years later. If you'd like to purchase a car from me please send me a comment below!

    Bought a 2013 SEL in November, 2012. Great car after Ford replaced the transmission after a year. 12 volt battery went bad in 2019 and found out it a module in the entertainment module not shutting down after turning the car off. Had to randomly recharge the battery. Ford knew about this, but refused to issue a recall. Annoyed at that, but still a well designed, comfortable vehicle with a lot of great tech.

      @flipsaug okay there's a 2014 c Max with 64k miles for 11k and imma tryn talk them down a little bit. I would really love getting this car the only thing that kinda steers me away is a lot of people are saying they don't make c max parts anymore and it's super expensive and can take months to repair any issues

      @@egozttb72I hit a coyote a year ago and had to have the front end get some mostly body work done. No issues. Only complaints: the air filter and interior HEPA filter are a bitch to replace. Since the brakes aren’t used as much thanks to regen, I had a hell of a time replacing them. The rotors get stuck on over time. So now I’m really careful when applying anti-seize grease.

    Have had mine for 8 years and driven for 120,000 miles. Has been great. Only changed backup camera and purge valve myself for a total of $150. Way more reliable than Toyota and Honda. Highly recommend a good used one. Seats are not very comfortable though.

    I have a very similar one, it's a 2013 SEL, blk ext. And blk int. I have loved this car, I've owned it for 10 Yrs and have 160 k miles on it. And never an issue except a few recalls. I tell everyone it's not sexy, but I get 38 mpg in avg. Sometimes 40. And it's fun to drive. I'm actually at a point where I'm considering a new car, but I have it pretty good with this one, so I'm conflicted.

      They were designed to last 15 years. As far as I have heard none have ever failed to date. There are many replacement dealers who will do a complete and new repayment for $2500. I also have a 2013, it has 62000 miles, running strong with no problems. I did replace the tires with Pirelli's .... a great quieter tire. Best car I have ever owned . I have not seen anything built since that I would trade for.

      No, the regular C-Max is a hybrid. There is a plug-in version available that goes by "Energi" that you can plug-in to restore the battery instead of using the engine, but I do not believe you *have* to plug it in.

    I've never understood why people by the C-Max instead of the Fusion Hybrid. Maybe you C-Max owners will tell me.

    • @calvin4319
      @calvin4319 9 месяцев назад +2

      Because the fusion is boring, it just a fusion with a different powertrain basically, same reason you rarely see optima hybrids for example when people get a hybrid they want it too feel special, this is something that will never be made again in the U.S. more than likely, the cmax was also know for being the sportiest hybrid at the time acceleration and handling wise

    • @Lincolnator721
      @Lincolnator721 3 месяца назад +1

      I gotta say after having ridden in my sister's Fusion, I believe it was a 2017, I absolutely HATED getting in it and even out of it. It felt like trying to sit down in a bath tub. Not just that, but the pillars are HUGE in that car and my head was touching the roof in the back seat. I'm 6'3" 215 lbs. Yeah the Fusion looks cool but that's about all it's got going for it, IMO. I'm getting a (regular hybrid) CMAX hopefully sometime in the next few months. The visibility is AMAZING in the CMAX

      @@Lincolnator721 My first Fusion Hybrid was a 2015 I bought new and put 100K miles on it before it got rear-ended and my insurance company totaled it (a year ago).
