To use candles, put them in your hotbar, and press the corresponding button. Contrary to torches, you keep both your hands free, for weapon and shield. Not sure where the candle goes. Maybe on your helmet. 5:03 For me all potions, including the red and blue flasks do stack. Maybe the hindrance was just the known difficulty, in placing items at the bottom of the inventory. 50:49 I'm currently level 15. I think I found close to everything that is to be found, so far. I still have a few open quests, but I think that they simply are not fully developed, yet. It might be that I have a bit higher level than typical, since I farmed one rat and especially a slime that endlessly respawned each time I left the area for a while, while all other creatures do not respawn. So I'm not sure if that is intended. But even without that, I thing you likely would get to level 14. I did not kill no friendly NPC's so you might get much higher, that way. 51:22 If you type in some higher sell price on the trader side, and click on "Consider", you can estimate what chance you have to haggle for more returns on your sale. You can then try to trade. It obviously works the other way around, when you buy things. How well you can haggle, depends on your "Speech" skill. That is the main purpose of that skill, so far. Only found one other occasion to use "Speech". 1:16:45 "... regret not having more space in my inventory." Your backpack an thus half you total inventory space, is totally empty. 1:59:52"If that thing is timed, I don't stand a chance in hell." I had the same reaction. But it is not as bad as it looks, if you use everything at your disposal. I you can't climb a ledge, you directly stand at, take a small step back and looking at the ledge, directly jump at it and keep the jump button pressed, for a bit. Muster the courage to jump some boards or confront some slimes. Or run past them.
If medieval miners are anything to go by, a pipe gripped in the teeth (pre tobacco, I know, so the old art may be an anachronism or those pipes were used for gripping candles first before being hollowed out for smoking later on).
I love this game. I finished everything in about 18 hours, I just have the last spells to unlock I also only used a single save file really. I technically have two, but only “lived” in one
Thanks Raph, great episode and lots of good progress. Looking forward to the next
God, that slime going through the bars would be horrifying.
I like the look of your character..hopefully you don't change his look but..obviously thats up to you of course Raph:)
Red and blue potions do stack. It's just a bit tricky stacking things in the bottom row.

@@raphaelperry8159 Nice. I might use that, when I next time play a dwarven miner, in a pen&paper RPG, if he not yet can afford a helmet lamp.
