    Super video very well done.
My 3year old fur baby just had this procedure and is day 3 post op. You could say he gave me my Christmas present early as he “old man walked” out the vet center two days after surgery.
Again great video and I hope people that are having issues deciding to or not to have this surgery watch this video and the many others to help make their decision.
My vet recommended bilateral TPLO because most dogs that do need this surgery for both knees and it’s recommended their owners will have one knee done and for what ever reason ( time or money) are hesitant to get the other knee worked on.
I was one of those and I’m am happy I chose to do both knees at one time. Is it stressful and worrisome. Like my surgeon told me yes it is BUT in the long run it will pay off.

Everything went pretty good. Fist two weeks were the rudest since he had to have medication everything few hours. Had to use a “help harness/sling even though he wanted to walk in his own. His post op check up showed everything looked good one week after surgery. After the full twelve weeks of recover I took him to physical therapy (more for my piece of mind) he was so “dog” tired after those days he just came home ate his dinner and bed.
So know a year and half later he gets out the and thinks he is just indestructible and can do it all. Me though I am the party pooper ( lol ) by saying no your not.
Me and him are happy with the surgery and you get what you pay for and please oh please follow the instructions the doctor gives you to the letter. While on recovery biggest thing no no no no jumping and always in a leash to go anywhere while on recovery (ti prevent zoomies).
He has some hardly noticeable scars but really other than for that you can’t tell he had a double TPLO surgery. 👍
