Katherine Healy 12 yrs old skating Pre-Silver ice dance test Fourteenstep European Waltz Foxtrot

I passed my Pre-Silver test at my home club of the Philadelphia Skating Club and Humane Society on May 3, 1981. Jock Kohlhas partnered me through the test and Elizabeth Blatherwick was my ice dancing coach. She was standing off-ice down at the bottom of the rink.
Later in 1998, when I had returned to the States, a very prominent American ice dance judge who was an official with US Figure Skating told me they would reinstate me as eligible for competition, no questions asked, if I would compete for the United States in ice dancing. I did not take them up on it but I did appreciate it!
