Seems like bronny the only one who can defend on Sierra canyon. Which is why they have so many mismatches which is why they were forced to play zone which subsequently got eaten alive.

The coaching is also fucking terrible at SC. They got horribly out coached in this game the whole way through.
Caleb foster is so smooth. He plays at the same pace regardless of what's going on. Under control.

@@2PunchMid so if Elohims so detrimental to the team and the ball hog what do you suppose should have happened should they have continued to chuck and miss all them threes and play lackluster defense take your feelings out of it if cofield and elohim didn’t do what they did this would have been a 40 pt blowout bronny didn’t have his best game shooting but he did other things like rebound I’m not putting the blame on him solely Ashton hardaway played horrible defense and only had 4 points that’s Osiris chucked bad shots all game there coach didn’t play to bronny Ashton or Isaiah’s strengths the better team won

Great Game for Caleb Foster. Congratulations Notre Dame on the W. No one could defend Caleb, and when they tried to stop hm, he always made the right pass to an open wing and they knocked down shots. Elohim had a nice night as well. NICE season for both teams.

In my opinion they would have played better and had more size and bronny would play as pg utilitizing all of his skills. Another thing I noticed is that coach Dre meteyoer even when meteyor is killing sc coach Dre never removes him and Bryce cofield should be getting more minutes coming off the bench

Even with Elohim it was not enough for SC to finally win over Notre Dame. Caleb, Dusty, Mercy, and the rest of the team clicked at the right time, the loss to Ysidro was just a bump in the road in order for them to make it (and most likely win) a state title. Hopefully we can see Bronny commit to a college real soon, it's been fun to watch him grow over his HS career, and best of luck to him in the future
If no one still left on the team transfers out SC will have Elohim, Cofield, Noah Williams, and AJ Swinton as their main players next year
Elo didn’t look 100% if he was and sc came out with more intensity it’s a 50/50 battle. Also on the 1st sub of the game sc coach took bronny off and ND went on a 10-0 run if bronny doesn’t go off it might have been a game

Anyone else ever noticed in high-school when the big man gets an offensive board that they never kick it back out for the 3. They immediately try to put it back up on 2 or 3 defenders. I don't think it's taught at the high school level nearly enough
This was a good game but when i was a coach i never got beat by the same time 3 times if u beat my team once I'm drawing up a new play for the next time we meet so i can't blame the players.

Thought they had a chance at state after getting moved down but nah. The only advantage that SC had was size and the coach didn’t utilize that and they got blown out! Caleb Foster best PG in state! Besides dunking better than Bronny at everything.

nobody starts the season in open division you can’t be moved up or down you have to win enough to qualify for that bracket as you can see neither one of these teams qualified but besides that every thing you said was right Caleb foster best player on the court he has a size advantage over most guards and wings in high school thay couldn’t even get a rebound over him
Bronny is a way better passer and defender, and his shooting is on par as well, Caleb is only better at creating his own shot and thats it, hence bronny being all American and Caleb not. Basketball is more than scoring

@@_OT9 both these teams were in the open section with eight teams and the bottom four played in D1 state and the top four teams played in the open division state playoffs. That’s how it works in Cali. So both went down for the state tournament along with BM and Etiwanda
#3 is tough to guard! Strong with good footwork in high school going down hill is tough to guard! His teammates also hit their shots after they closed some paint attempts! SC was just out matched at every position

Bronny the better overall player than caleb foster and mickey williams. Just cause bronny plays within a system and never forces shots. Others like wagner, foster, mikey all take tons more shots and i agree are more aggressive on offense but when it comes to overall skills, talent bronny might be the best. From where he started to player hes grown to is amazing. If he gets aggressive on offense and looks to score more he will be super nice with it. The defense, the playmaking, iq, knowledge on how to play is already better than the rest in his class.

terrible coaching from sierra canyon… rotations were awful and so undisciplined on defense like the whole year…also caleb foster is a problem… bronny couldn’t help his team with all the attention on him did the best he could with the constant pressure and shots weren’t falling his way… ND had too much talent for SC

SC main issues are lack of defensive ability in man, lost track of shooters and guys were falling out of positionway to much and on offense they failed to convert key offensive possessions missed a lot of good looks and I would have liked to see them maybe work the ball better because they forced some possessions they didn’t need too. Good luck to those guys in the future though they got the talent.

Bronny blossomed into a great role player at Sierra Canyon but he never became a star. Sierra Canyon's last 2 stars - Brandon Boston & Zaire Williams struggled on the college level and the start of their NBA careers. It will be interesting to see how Bronny's career progresses. Perhaps there are developmental advantages to high school players learning to be good role players on the high school level before playing college ball.
Those 3 on an NBA court will be nice to see

That's the game when you go off and appear unstoppable and carry the team. I think this kid needs to go through a college program. There is no way he is good enough to jump straight to the NBA. Basically take a spot from someone that deserves to be there, just because of name recognition. I should mention that I have not seen that kind of prolific shooting form a highschool team in some time, so hats off to Notre Dame.
