- Cash, iPhones, and river treasure galore. I had an excellent adventure searching for free stuff in the river. The wallet had no ID in it but did have two credit cards. I called the CC company and advised them of my find, but have not heard from the wallet owner as of today. Plus I see lots of wildlife to include catfish, smallmouth bass, carp, walleye and even a freshwater clam! Special thanks to Zookii for the GoPro accessory kit provided for this video.

EraseMeWhole Idk somebody probably went diving, and put their belongings in a waterproof bag but it must've broke off because of the current and gotten lost
It's hard to find things in water if you do t have proper equipment. More then you would think. It looked like the string broke. They most likely where kayaking or canoeing when it broke.

I just love how when the fish come out they just look at him for a minute and then swim away as if their saying “follow me I know where the best treasures are”
Even if the phones are flooded, plug them into a USB port of your PC for a day or two. The low-level current will dry out the insides and possibly restore the phone to working condition. A few years back while fishing, my then-girlfriend's son found an iPod that was in the water for at least a week (judging from the slime and crap that had accumulated on it) and after being plugged into the USB port on my PC for 3 days, it actually managed to work again.
50 % chance to break your pc aswell and 50 % change that it won't work but youre cumputer wont blow

You’re awesome getting the wallet back I to the person! I’ve found passports, purses, driver’s licenses, bank cards. I don’t dive, but I treasure hunt, dig up old locations, find antiques, from terrains of grasslands right through to rough remote mountains. Accidentally found geocaches in the damnest of places, like rusted out hulls of old cars filled with deer crap. It’s always an adventure of discovery! Mountain search and rescue is the ultimate experience for me.

there was this one river I went canoeing in, called gasconade river (i think) and I took some goggles and a snorkel. when I stopped for lunch on the side of the river, I decided to go look for some stuff. all was great exept for one thing: the water was freezing. it was pretty hot outside, but i found out that the river never warms up that much, but i snorkeled anyways. it was worth it, because I found a pair of rainbow sunglasses, a pink wallet (empty), a pair of black goggles, and a selfie stick. (wonder how someone lost that in the river)

u should post your info and dive for somebody in need of you.I dropped my wallet with 600 cash in it off side of my boat.Searched for a diver and found one paid him 150 to dive for it.he retrieved in under 2 minutes...Yess what a great day it was.Oh yeah my boat was in the slip in harbor of calif.

Instead, you can put it in a bag of uncooked rice for 72 hours. I always works for me.
DailyGamer or take it apart, dry the items individually, put it back together, restore the files on harddrive, repair the phone if anything else is wrong, and you've got a brand new functioning phone and you probably pay 100$(maximum) for everything.... if i found a phone in water i would do that and immediately search for the owner!!! He could also look at the SIM CARD if there's a serial number or something on the sim card and could contact the sim card company to find the owner.

He is an honest guy! I can only imagine that most people would keep the cash and mail the id and credit cards back, or worse, keep the cash and dispose of the id and credit cards, or even worse, keep the cash and sell the id and credit cards on the dark net.

Last month i went fishing alone to the beach and i travelled in the cayac alone to an island called "Brisa fria" where theres a lot sealions living , i was very afraid be bitted by someone , when i was fishing i tried to be carefully and i found a wallet with 450 dollars and when i found the money i was so fucking happy couldnt believe it , i returned to the beach but i tried to contact with his owner , and her son said he was dead 25 years ago ,imagine that find old money from a dead person and try to return it , i did something good cuz i felt good giving the money to that guy...

If you put the phones in rice for a few days sometimes it gets out the water and they’ll work again. Or just open them up and blow dry them and let them air out and then put them back together. Just a thought!
