This isn't really DJing for dummies, it just allows you to learn to beat match more easily which allows more people to get involved with DJing. You will find any one now running DJing software helps make DJing a lot easier to get into and less expensive to get started. I have heard some amazing sets played through the Mixtrack Pro and I feel it is a really good controller for beginners and up to intimidate level.
Yes when released you will be able to map the Mixtrack pro 2 to Traktor 2.

Thank you for your enquiry, not only does it look very different from the original Mixtrack Pro it has now a single output on the back of the unit and with you headphone socket on the right hand side. You will also find that the unit is a lot more responsive and the build quality has also improved greatly as the new has a real solid feel.

Have you ever heard of the turntablist DMC competition? they use Serato for there competitions and some even use controllers when they play out, these are the most technically skilled DJs in the world are you gonna tell them there taking away from them DJs?? think before you make dumb comments...
