Hi Gabriel. Although I don't use it that way, but such a DAC can be used as a preamp, yes. However, for a high quality device like Rotel power amp you still have, it will be better to get a Rotel preamp. For example RC-1580.
@@uyguntin Thank you for your answer, unfortunately here in Brazil the devices of renowned brands and high quality are quite expensive and difficult to find. That's why at first I opted for this little dac, as I'm not an audiophile I think it will serve me well for now.
